I have upgraded from a epson xp-860 as I wanted A3 printing. I got a canon pixma pro 100 and after the first one then a replacement i am giving up on it. I print a lot of artwork that is mostly solid black and the xp-860 looked awesome. The pixma pro on the other hand was a let down but acceptable with the OEM carts then when I moved to third part inks I appeared to be fighting a losing battle with the black.  I considered getting a p400 or p600 but the cost when including a refill kit is out...

Having installed the Epson drivers on a Mac (OS EL CAPITAN 10.11.6) many times, the Epson software is partly overwritten by the Apple Software/drivers. Firstly even if I install the Epson Software only, it creates 2 sets of Printer Software (printers) in the printer list. One is the AirPrint Apple version Apple driver Version 2.0 the other the Epson Driver with the correct reference number. Even the Epson version does not operate like the correct Epson Set up. The Print Setting Page is not...

When I try to print on my Epson Sure Color P600, either the sheet is fed through completely with no printing and I get an out of paper message or the sheet does not feed at all and I get an out of paper message.  This is a new problem.  Things have been working fine for several months.  I have performed a roller cleaning and head cleaning, but can't print a nozzle check.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks.

Has anyone used this printer with the Windows XP pro operating system? When I asked Epson if it would work I was told that they could not guarantee it. --Stanley S.

I have a Coolpix P-600.  I accidentally set it on M instead of U.  Every picture I then took seemed ok when I pressed the shutter, but on replay every one is blanked out white.  Is there any way to recover the photos?  Thank you.  CJ Wheeler

So this is like my "fun" camera only used for when I want a super long shot but still i want to get the best IQ possible from it.After testing the SX60, SX50 and P900, I kept the SX50 as it had the best IQ. Now I saw a comparison of the P600 vs the SX50 and the 600 came on top with very nice IQ. Apparently the 610 is the same IQ wise so I am looking at it as my replacement to the SX50 but someone mentioned the B700 as well. My concern with the B700 is that it came about the same time as the...

Started  w/new printer (Epson P 600 Sure Color) late December.  Great printer- great results!!!   I was soooo happy!!!!   Near nervana ! Then came update  about 2 weeks ago  and it has been a down hill spiral since.   Results  are dark & drenched in ink!!    After  2.5 hrs w/ Epson tech support  advising  printer  mang. adjustments;  prints  are  better but grainey,  colors are  off and print has  lost depth.   Support put the blame on Adobe.   BYW  they  also sold me $178 of debugging...

Is there any consensus among the veteran photographers here concerning the many internet "professional" reviewers out there.  A few that come to mind are CNET, Imagine Resources, Photography Blog, DP Review, etc. I've looked at a lot of them and they seem to be all over the board reviewing the exact same "bridge" camera. Are there some of them than can be relied upon to give generally good solid reviews?  Or is it just a crap shoot on what camera will return a good image. I understand the...

I'm interested more in IQ than other areas.  Extra bells and whistles don't mean as much. I think both have the same image proceessor and both have the same zoom range. I've seen both used from the same camera store, but the P600 is US$179 and the P610 is US$299.  Both are listed as EXcellent condition. Thanks

I have a Epson P600,  and have finally found something nice that is post card size to print on.   unfortunately, things don't seem that simple. Paper -- Hahnemuhle, Fine Art Photo Cards,  4"x6",   Printer Settings,  Media type:Velvet Fine Art Paper,  Matte Black Ink Downloadable profile from Hahnemuhle The P600 wants you to use the front loader for fine art paper,  however in the print dialog box (in PS) the smallest size for using the front loader is about 8.5"x11".  and I tried loading the...
