Hi All! This is my first-ever post on DPReview. Amid all the drought for Nikon B700 professional reviews (save for one or two), I thought of sharing my experiences with this camera after 4 full days of continuous use shooting primarily birds, wildlife and a bit of landscapes. I had the camera for two days to play with. For me, the main attraction was 60x zoom range combined with 4K resolution of movies. Until few days ago, when Panasonic introduced FZ80, this was the only camera to combine these two parameters, giving an opportunity to get fullHD video (from 4K) with 2880mm focal length. This camera is awesome. I've owned some Nikon's and they got too heavy, and I moved to a mirrorless which I really like, but then I could only go so far in reach for birding. Enter the Nikon B700!  What a great camera :) Being used to the 24 mp on the Sony, I was concerned that I would miss the sharpness, but not so.  This camera far outdoes what I had hoped for. I have now had my B700 for around a month. My observations: PROS: 1. Setting up Snapbridge was quite a breeze, contrary to other user reports. It happened on the first try without any hiccups. I think iPhone owners are still having problems, but the Android app works well. Snapbridge can operate zoom as well as take photos, but it does not work with video recording.
