Now that the B700 has been discontinued, does anyone know if a replacement is coming? I know it is still available to buy in a lot of places, but if it is being superseded I'd rather have that, assuming it doesn't cost a lot more. I know the P1000 has been announced but it is £1000 and with a greater zoom than I'd like and I was under the impression that the better priced P900 was not as good as the B700. If it is not being replaced then I think I'd be best off with a Panasonic FZ82. Thanks.
Hello, My wife and I have recently become interested in photography and would like to get your thoughts on what camera would be most appropriate for our needs. We live in rural Canada with much of our property covered in bush with a few small bodies of water distributed throughout. There is a lot of diversity in terms of wildlife, birds and many species of wild flowers. We initially looked at cameras with changeable lenses and soon discovered that with the required telephoto lenses these get...
Hi all We've not had much chance to use our new camera, but I've had a go recently and am well pleased with the stills. I don't want to use wi-fi or bluetooth, but would like to see my movies on our smart tv. I've transferred some (I thought) to a usb drive, but they won't show on the tv (Samsung) or the Panasonic DVD recorder. Another thing is that iMovie on my iMac won't open the MP4 movies that I try and open. Could this be because I need to alter something in the settings? I'd...

Hi! I am just beginning to get friendly with Nikon Coolpix B700. This weekend I managed to take some pictures, that got these dark "lens" borders... and I can't reproduce the way I managed to produce them (can be seen both in macro and regular mode). Could you please help me to: a) identify a setting that could lead to these; b) instruct me how to avoid this in the future? :-D Thank you very much in advance!
I am using 'Snapbridge' on my phone. I am able to connect to camera via BlueTooth. Photos gets transfered nicely. But it don't get connected via WiFi. While connecting it stops/hangs aroung 60% progress during 'connecting to camera' and then displays 'Camera not found'. Due to this I can't use remote photography. Can anybody help?
I am considering getting a B700 (allegedly, a successor of P610), one of its major pros being a vari-angle screen. I couldn't however find any YT video or a review that would answer my question: can you tilt the screen when it is unfolded about 90 degrees from the chassis - as in the framed position shown below: P610
Hi, I'm looking for some help with a refurbished Nikon B700 camera that I bought recently. It seems to share two very annoying habits that my old camera, a Nikon L820 had. In it's 5 year life span with me, the L8200 began to have a mind of it's own in focusing. I would focus in, it would push it back out, often all the way to infinity. We always assumed that some dirt had gotten under the focus control, located on the top right of the camera. The problem became terminal near the end of the...
