..Currently, I'm learning my new B700 camera.. ..noticed the B700 has an Auto-focus feature that's not included in the P900 & P1000 cameras.. ..and that's the "PRE-AF".. (see the picture below) ..so question for the B700 users.. what's your experiences in using "PRE-AF"? ..is there any advantages of using "PRE-AF" over "AF-F"? ..thanks.. ********** ..Cheers..
Hi. first post in this group. I am a Nikon DX shooter (my latest are D7200, D3300 - 23 MP sensors). My best 'long' lens is 70-300 AF-P. Been looking at superzooms for affordable, longer (& lighter) reach but also the 'infinite depth of field' that the small sensors also offer. Not wowed by the Nikon offerings. The FZ300 seems to get good reviews, has constant f2.8 lens, good EVF, RAW capability and some weather sealing. In the price range I could justify the longer superzooms (such as Nikon...
I have an SD card which I am using in my DC-ZS70. I would like to use same card in Nikon B700 and be able to switch this card between these cameras. I'm just enough beginner that I'm worried that in changing to Nikon do I have to re-format card to Nikon and thus lose existing photos from ZS70? My goal is to use both cameras interchangeably with the same SD card but not lose any existing photos by switching cameras.
Now that the B700 has been discontinued, does anyone know if a replacement is coming? I know it is still available to buy in a lot of places, but if it is being superseded I'd rather have that, assuming it doesn't cost a lot more. I know the P1000 has been announced but it is £1000 and with a greater zoom than I'd like and I was under the impression that the better priced P900 was not as good as the B700. If it is not being replaced then I think I'd be best off with a Panasonic FZ82. Thanks.
Hello, My wife and I have recently become interested in photography and would like to get your thoughts on what camera would be most appropriate for our needs. We live in rural Canada with much of our property covered in bush with a few small bodies of water distributed throughout. There is a lot of diversity in terms of wildlife, birds and many species of wild flowers. We initially looked at cameras with changeable lenses and soon discovered that with the required telephoto lenses these get...
