Nikon Coolpix 5700 User Reviews
Every few days of heavy use, I discover another wonderful feature or convenience in the design and layout of this camera. I still wish for instant response, but with proper choice of shooting options, this camera is very responsive indeed. Learning the various dedicated buttons takes a little time, but once learned, "ease of use" is truly excellent. I can't find any reason to downgrade in any category. Street price (July 2003) was about $750, which is a terrific value. To my surprise, the ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
The most excellent digital camera ever. Trust me, the photographer inside you will grow with the Nikon 5700. I has everything you would possibly need. The image quality is the best I've seen so far. And the "feel" of it in your hand is really great. The advertising is really true, once you've held it, you won't let it go. Problems: I took to it to service because I had 3 dead pixels. But the warranty service was great, they had me waiting for 15 minutes while they checked for the pixels and ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I have been using the 5700 for just over 3 months now - it is my first digital camera having migrated from a Chinon CE-5. I mainly use the camera for shots of aircraft and have been more than pleased with the quality of the photos taken so far. The night time shots I have taken without a tripod have been brilliant. I have taken photos in all sorts of conditions ranging from absolutely throwing it down with rain to snow and freezing temperatures and the coolpix still comes up with the goods. Oh Yes. Buy it. I have had this camera for 4 weeks now and can honestly say it is the best £850 I have ever spent. Prior to this camera I had a Fuji 4700Z which I was loathed to loose as it served me well for over two and a half years with over 2200 pictures. However I had to upgrade as the interpolated 4.3 mill pictures were noisy, it suffered from terrible red eye and I had a yearning to return to something more SLR like. Sold it for £190 with a 128 Mb card which went towards the Nikon. It ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I bougth the CP 5700 3 month ago. After this time i can say, i love this "little baby". This wunderfull cam didn't leave me abandon in any situation. Excellent image quality, awesome lens, excellent macro ability, fast focus and the unique "nikon ergonomic body design". The prints on paper i've made are fantastic! Ok, it takes a little time to get the best results, but then... I'm wondering about the people they write: ..after one they, i brought back the CP 5700...i'm disappointet... Sorry, ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I upgraded from the Coolpix 9500 and thrilled with my decision to purchase the Coolpix 5700. I looked at other brands, but I always go back to Nikon. The picture quality if fantastic and the camera is very easy to use, I just took it out of the box and began using it. Family and friends are amazed with the photos that I have taken with the Nikon 5700. I have had many photos printed at a photo studio and the quality of the print is much better than prints from negative film. Problems: Low ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
