The G Flex 2 is the successor to the original G Flex model and like its predecessor a curved screen and battery and features a self-healing coating on the back cover, making it pretty much resistant against minor scratches and nicks. As before the phone also bends slightly to absorb drops and pressure.

In terms of features and specifications the new model has been fully upgraded for 2015 and is the first official device to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 system chip. The screen resolution has been upgraded to 1080p, the curved battery provides 3000mAh capacity and can be charged to 50 percent in under 40 minutes.

In the camera department LG uses a slightly improved unit from the G3. The 13MP sensor is combined with a F2.0 aperture and according to LG engineers features an improved optical image stabilization system. The camera also features LG's trade-mark rear shutter button, laser-AF and voice control.
