Running Windows 8.1 the ThinkPad 10 is aimed at professionals and business users. The use of the optional ThinkPad Tablet Dock allows you to connect an external display, mouse, and keyboard, turning the tablet into a full-blown workstation.
The built-in display offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and is covered by Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet's body is made from aluminium. Under the hood a quad-core Intel Atom processor and up to 4GB RAM power the Windows OS. Files can be stored on up to 128GB of internal memory. If that's not enough there is also a microSD card slot.
In terms of imaging the ThinkPad 10 comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-equivalent. Lenovo promises 10 hours of battery life and for data connection on the go there is a 3G/4G LTE1 wireless option. Other optional features include a fingerprint scanner and smart card reader. Corporate IT managers will be happy about VPN access control and the ability to prevent users from installing prohibited apps.
