The Leica Thambar-M 90mm F2.2 marks the return of a lens first designed in 1935. The Thambar has a 'distinctive, dreamily romantic look and unmistakable bokeh' created by 'deliberately under-corrected spherical aberrations, along with a 20-bladed aperture.' It features 4 elements in 3 groups, a minimum focus distance of 1m and 6-bit lens ID codes for digital Leica M bodies. It's threaded for 49mm filters. As always, the lens hand-built with premium materials.
