The Leica Summilux-M 21 mm F1.4 ASPH. offers a wide field of view coupled with a very fast maximum aperture, making it ideal for available light photography. Accurate framing on one of Leica's M-series rangefinder cameras requires a separate optical viewfinder, but focus and metering can be set from the camera, in the normal way. Optical construction consists of ten elements in eight groups, with two aspherical elements and a floating group for optimal performance at close focusing distances.
