Overall, a great little camera! One of the smallest around, sleek, stylish. The quality of pics/vids is excellent. You can store very large vids on this camera, over an hour. I've had mine for about *two years* now and it still gets used almost every day. Problems: 1. Self-timer mode can only take one pic before you need to walk up to the camera, fiddle with the menu again and set it to self-timer! Silly software design. 2. Once the internal capacitor that holds the date dies, you will always ...

I didnt keep the camera very long. Wasn't too thrilled with the picture quality. I read great things about the camera and I was sadly disappointed. I sold it a couple months after I bought it. I then bouth a Fujifilm V10 and I was happier with this camera. I still use it today. Problems: I don't remember any but I just didn't like the picture quality.

I have had this camera for a few years now. I gave it to my wife when i got a DSLR. The picture quality still is great for a P&S. Auto mode takes great pictures. I still have not seen a point and shoot camera that takes better pics. Problems: Setting reset when you turn it off, a real pain. I wish it used 2 AA instaed of the kodak battery. I wish it had a usb cable instead of a dock.

Love this camera! Takes excellent quality pictures, the video is great too. Also have a Kodak DX3900. Purchased for its size and many features (including the different modes for beach, sunset, fireworks, etc). My aunt has the V550 and its basically the same (larger screen on back, an actual view finder, and larger internal memory (32 as opposed to this one having 16MB). See below for my problem. Children in bright light mode is fabulous... I have two little ones and they move a LOT and I ...

I have had the kodak V530 for two weeks now and am very happy with it overall. Great pictures, ease of use, however poor battery life and you NEED a dock to have any connectivity between the camera and your PC, otherwise a card reader will do the job. Problems: I now own three digital cameras, one is a Nikon D100 SLR, a nikon coolpix 3500 and now the Kodak V530 as a replacement for the coolpix since it performs so poorly at night. I have done a little bit of testing between the cameras, and ...

I've always liked the metal build quality of the Canon and Pentax sub-compact digitals but never thrilled over their color balance and price, so when I happened to play with the V530 at my local Walmart and saw the less than $200 price tag and all metal construction, I was hooked. As with the other two brands the V530 isn't perfect in the color balance deparment, but it certainly doesn't have the overall magenta cast I've seen with some of the Canons I've tried. As a matter of fact, the ...

A good camera except I have had two now and both suffered from solarisation. Maybe I had bad luck to get this twice. No longer have this now. But up until this happened I was impressed...

I love the construction with it's metal body, LCD is a nice size at 2.0". Very easy to use, quick to learn. Great quality pictures and on camera editing. Ultra compact size make it easy carry. The video is better than expected, also duration is based flash card. Problems: Battery does not last long. Flash could be better. I wish there was a USB connection directly on camera.

I have been using and recommending digital cameras on my job for 6-7 years. Kodak cameras were always my "idiot proof" recommendation for challenged users. I bought this camera for my wife to use and she has had nothing but a good time using it. I was very surprised at the quality of the pictures that we took through the holidays and the ease that the included software allowed her to print and edit pictures. She loves it. Since she is an elementary school teacher having a camera on hand ...
