I have been using this camera for three years and I was thinking to upgrade this camera with one of the latest model with more advanced technical features. I recognized that the image quality and colors of Kodak is still amazing and better than a lot of the recent other models. Finally I decided to continue with this model because of the outstanding color quality. Problems: 1. It is not the best in low light conditions. 2. Missing battery life indicator.

I've had this camera for almost 3 years. I love it!! I have taken over 10,000 pictures and it still amazes me. It has helped me grow tremendously as a photographer thanks to its versatility and wealth of options. Problems: It is not the best camera for low light conditions. The Flash has very little reach.

After two and half+ years of regular use, this is still my "regular" camera for all around use, even though I have accumulated other more "capable" cameras in the mean time. My 9 year old son has used it also and is clamouring for "ownership". It has plenty of features, easy to understand menuing system, good image quality, and is easy enough for a 9 year old to use. Problems: None.

Having bought this camera in July '05 as my first foray into digital I can recommend these Kodak's as a great introduction for those wanting to come to grips with the rudiments of digital photography. Clean sharp pics and easy to use, yet just enough within the menu to help you understand the technology. Problems: No problems

I have had this camera for over a year now, it is the latest one that I have brought. It is a wonderful camera and I have made over 8000 photos from it. Im studying to be a professional photographer so this is very handy for learning. Problems: nothing at all :)

I have had this camera now close to 2 years and I have advanced my skills with it enought to progress to a DSLR. I have had no issues with the camera. There are a lot of features that take a little while to understand. What I enjoy most is the 10x optical zoom but camera does not operate that well in low light. Has all the features of a professional camera and now can be picked up for much less than the $450 I paid for it. Nice little camera for a beginner or taking pictures of the children. ...

I have this camera for over a year now. Back then, I bought it for about $600. I arrived it a month later, being very excited to take my first shot with it, but then I had to find the button to turn it on. I didn't think I'd have to read the manual to find the on/off button, but I was wrong. The button is quite small and for anyone like me, who (at the time) didn't have much expirience with cameras, you will have to use your eyes very well to find the on/off button. Anyway, after that I took ...

I've absolutely no knowledge of photography and/or camera. All throughout my life, whenever I tried to take a pic, I'd proven myself to be an extremely lousy photographer (which is actually an understatement), and until 2 years ago, I didn't know if one could delete a pic one took using a digital camera, or if one needed to keep buying new cards. I didn't even know how a zoom works until April this year, when I used a friend's digital camera (he uses Canon) for the first time to take about ...

I've had this camera for a few weeks and given it a good thrashing on a recent holiday, and I certainly haven't been disappointed. Almost every criticism of the DX7590 that I have read has not really been a problem for me at all so far. I've taken plenty of shots at close to maximum zoom, with very little fuzziness due to camera shake, and quite a few in low light with no focussing problems (even before updating to the latest firmware which was supposed to help this problem). Battery life has ...

Received this camera yesterday and it is being sent back to day. I realised that there were image quality issues with this camera but I didn't realise how bad they were. Even normal pictures that were not stretching the boundaries of the lens or aperture were very poor. Viewing the pictures at full size the "water-color" effect was very obvious. My old DC4800 takes much better pictures than this. A picture of a good subject, a local castle, showed lots of colour but no detail. None of the ...
