This is a simple, point and shoot camera, but the imaging quality is inconsistent. Sometimes the fixed focus lens gives great results, other times it is very sloppy. This camera has an enormous appetite for batteries. The serial transfer rates are slow, so make sure to get a CompactFlash reader. Problems: In addition to the lens, sometimes the shutter is sticky and the camera refuses to take a picture.

I have taken about 4000 images with tis camera and can say that this is a total wast of money!!! Don't even think about it... If you think this camera is good take a look at something else. Problems: Batery pack! Service! Focus!!!!!!!! SLOW!!

I bought mine a year ago. Landscapes blur, quality is below a 640 x 480 fuji for sharpness. Great for family shots and indoors, anything else- rubbish due to Kodaks lens and software compression. Kodak sold rubbish and don't care! Problems: Battery case fell to bits, Kodak UK took 6 weeks to repair- pathetic
