Fitted this to my Canon 400 f5.6L on my Canon 700 and took comparison pictures tripod mounted of a distant clock face on a sunny day with the lens stopped down to the same aperture as wihen using the converter.there was no problems with autofocus in these conditions There was no discernable difference when images were blown up to similar image sizes between shooting with and without the converter fitted which seems to indicate the lens is excellent, and the converter is similarly good at ...

I recently bought a Kenko Pro 300 DGX 2x Teleconverter. I mounted it on my existing Nikkor 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and Nikon D7000 camera. I performed various tests for the last 2 weeks. Results below. AUTOFOCUS With Nikon D7000 body, it is possible to autofocus down to f/9.5 without problems. At f/10 it hunts a bit but ultimately manages to focus.
