Huawei MediaPad M2 10 Overview
With its 10-inch display the M2 is larger than most previous MediaPad models and puts a focus on camera and audio capabilities. 13MP in the rear camera is an unusually high pixel-count for tablets and a 5MP module at the front should allow for decent selfie-quality as well. For high quality sound output Huawei has partnered with Harman/Kardon whose Clari-Fi technology provides high-resolution audio. There is also the optional Huawei's Active Stylus, which offers 2048-level pressure sensitivity, and a fingerprint reader at the front for biometric security.
At 1080p the resolution of the 10-inch display is, compared to Apple's current iPads and high-end Samsung Galaxy models, pretty low. Under the hood Android 5.1 Lollipop and the EMUI 3.1 launcher are powered by Huawei's own Kirin 930 octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is also a premium version of the M2 that comes with 3GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and the bundled Active Stylus.
