The HTC One Mini 2 which follows a similar concept as its predecessor, the original One Mini. It is a scaled-down version of HTC's current flasgship phone, the One M8 with a very similar design but downgraded internal components.

From a mobile photography point of view there are two significant changes compared to the "big" one M8: The One Mini 2 does not come with the M8's Duo Cam and therefore does not have the ability to simulate a narrow depth-of-field or offer other Duo Cam features. HTC has also opted for a 13Mp camera module instead of the M8's 4 "ultrapixel" unit.

The One Mini 2 comes with the same 5MP front-camera as the M8 though. Images can be composed and viewed on a 4.5-inch 720p display and under the hood Android 4.4.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC and 1GB of RAM.
