HTC One A9 Overview
The One A9 slots into the HTC device line-up just under the flagship One M9. In the camera department the new model comes with a lower 13MP sensor resolution than the M9 with its 20MP chip, but on the plus side offers a slightly faster F2.0 aperture and an optical image stabilization system which could easily make it the better option in low light. There is also a dual-LED flash and the front element of the lens is covered with sapphire glass. At the front you'll find HTC's 4 'Ultrapixel' camera with F2.0 aperture. Both cameras record 1080p video and, like the M9, the A9 is capable of recording DNG Raw files.
Inside the metal hull Google's brand new Android 6.0 is powered by the also very new Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset and, depending on region, 2 or 3GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage. If you need more space a microSD slot is on board as well.
Images can be viewed on a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and power is provided by a 2150 mAh battery. By current standards that's a small battery but thankfully the A9 supports the Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0 and 3.0 standards. There is also a fingerprint scanner that doubles as a home-button.
