Product description
Announced Jun 18, 2013

Unveiled in Taiwan, HTC launched the new Butterfly S with so many of the same specs and features that it seems to be a modified version of the HTC One. For example, both models are equipped with a 4 UltraPixel camera on the rear panel, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera and the HTC Zoe movies feature, to name just a few similarities.
But there are several major differences including size and weight. At 144.5 x 70.5 x 10.6mm and 160g, the Butterfly S is larger and heavier than the One, which measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3mm and 143g. While the physical specs, at least on paper, may not appeal to people who want smaller and lighter phones, the increase in dimension translates to a larger, 5-inch Super LCD 3 1080p display (versus the One's 4.7-inch LCD).
