Dear forum members, I'm in deep trouble. Some time ago I decided to get rid of most of my lenses and go for the holy trinity of zooms. Then things turned around a bit, this is what I'm left with now: Nikon Z6, 24-70 f/4, 105mm MC. Here is my problem: I'm shooting mostly in the streets, rather far from the subject. Most of my photos are taken in the 50-70 range, close to 70. And a lot of the times I'm in need for something at least a bit longer. Now, 105mm is an amazing lens. But... It focuses...

Hi, So I am taking some handheld macro shots at the moment and was wondering if I could setup up the camera somehow to stay zoomed in (focus check) while I press the shutter. So I use a dumb manual macro lens (Laowa 65mm, no contact with the camera). I like to use focus check to make sure the right parts are in focus. Because it is a dumb lens this sadly does not work automatically when I turn the focus ring on the lens (at least I assume that is why this does not work, the setting is turned...

I have a Macbook Air that's about 5 years old, and I'm trying to import videos from my Fujifilm Xt4.  The problem is that video files that are larger than about 4 GB do not fully import.  It seems there is a file size limitation with the Macs.  The same files import just fine on an old windows laptop I have, BTW. Does anyone know a way to get around this limitation so I can import the full video files?

HI All, I have fuji XT20 and after using that camera i did not shoot RAW and almost never edited JPEG images. That is my go to camera..... After rave reviews i also bought fuji xt4 and i am noticed aomething is off on colors. I primarily shoot 35 1.4 with Classic chrome preset. I see fuji xt20 output for CC(classic chrome) has pinkish highlights and brownish hue in shadows, Fuji XT4 is more on green cyan side. Anyone else having both cameras noticed this? i checked and reverted all settings...

I tried to take photos of a Volleyball game at the school where I work and it did not turn out well! I'm a bit confused by different types of shutters perhaps and settings so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend their setting for successul sports photo with a Fuji XT4. Some observations, I found photos when they did focus worked better with single vs continuous focus and the small square, not the tracking or the larger square. I tried sports mode and regular, but slightly confused about...

Dear Fujians I got a request to shoot a rock band at a live concert in May. Very happy about this. Of course I want to deliver the best I can. The band wants color images for their Facebook site. No more information so far. I haven't been at the location yet. What is already clear, from own thoughts and conversation with friends: I'll shoot raw + jpeg, Classic Chrome, can change later Body: I'll use my X-T4, maybe my good old X-T20 as a 2nd body Lenses: I'll bring the XF 16-55 (excellent and...

let me begin with I suffer from GAS... I have been an X-T20, X-T30 and X100F user shooter for many years. I often shoot kids sports,. both indoor and outdoors. Lens I tend to use are: 90f/2; 50-140f/2.8; 70-300(outdoors only); some indoor shoots with 35f2/1.4; tried 56f/1.2 way too misses. Just ordered 50f/2 (on indoor shots in many venues with the 50-140 I am shooting at 6400 at 1/500 and need to push in post with often sub-optimal results.).   So given my lens array, and my chronic GAS,  i...
