I bought an X-T30 today and am selling my X-T20. Am absolutely delighted with the X-T30 in almost every way. Except one, very minor nitpick. So I wonder if there's a setting I'm missing to sort this out. On the X-T20 if you set an Fn button to Shutter Type (MS, ES, MS+ES) the button just changes between the three settings at each push. However the X-T30 does not change the setting but instead brings up a menu on the EVF or LCD which you can then use to select which one you would like. But...
Hi, Is there a easy way to use the EVF on your X-T30 (X-T10 or X-T20 too?)? I you are a fuji engineer, you probably don't have the usual caucasian "long nose" (pun literaly intended) and can easy put your eye to the EVF. But we "long nose" guys smears the LCD, accidently starts touch screen actions.... In the past, there are accessiores for cameras like Nikons DG-2. The problem: you can take away your eye from the EVF, but you will loose the sight to the corners (for reading time, aperture,...
Hello. Just bought a xf 35mm f2 wr lens for my x-t30 few days ago, everything works fine except one thing. When i remove the lens,i found the lens release button sometimes hard to push down, you need some extra force to fully push down the button. But it never happened to my xc lens.Is this normal or something goes wrong? Thanks.

Hello everyone! I am very new to photography. I was looking at Sony a6400 and Fujifim x-t30 as they seemed the best cameras in my budget. However, I later realized I should also look at the lens prices as well. My objective is two fold: a) to take pictures of my friends and family in various gatherings, events, 2) take landscape photography (for example, I will visit Yellowstone this summer). I also have a (secret) ambition to learn nature photography as well. I may consider spending a...

Hello! Beginner with a question. I bought the XT30 a few weeks ago. It was perfect for a trip to Greece and was so much more fun than my old Panasonic point and shoot. The Peak Design Capture Clip worked really well on the strap of my rucksack. So far, so good. My mega gripe is that the Peak Design Capture plate blocks the battery door on the XT30. I’d love to find a grip or L bracket that allows me to use the Capture without blocking the battery door. Anyone here have an answer or a good...
Hello everyone! I'm a beginner photographer interested to get into the Fuji system. I would mainly be shooting street/streetwear with the occasional landscape and portrait. I've done quite a bit of research and narrowed down my options to 3 (trying to stick with 1 lens first). Hopefully someone can give some insight on what's most "worth it" while also something that I can use for a very long time. X-T20 w/ 18-55mm @ $900 -> Cheapest option. X-T30 w/ 18-55mm @ $1300 -> Is the better X-Trans,...
Hi all, I just bought a X-T30, coming from a X-100t. I am pleased with the first results but I have one issue I really don't like. I specified the auto ISO ranges : e.g. AUTO1 160-6400iso minimum shutter speed 1/100 I did a photoshoot in dark conditions in A(aperture priority) but the shutter speed kept going under the 1/100 (like 1/30, 1/60,...) even thought I put it in AUTO1(min 1/100) That's absolutely what I don't want. I really want to stop motion. I can far easily see on the screen that...
First I am a newbie. I am a bit confused - at all the reviews out there say 10 Minutes @4K is the recording time limit - Fuji's site leads me to believe that it might be 20 or 30 minutes. Is this battery vs connected to a power supply? Let me explain my intended use. I want to record oral histories (interviews) of family some older members at a higher quality level than my iPhone as I hope this to be of value to the younger generations. Even though 10 minutes is a long time to ramble it might...
