Hi All,
I recently bought 2nd hand X-T1 with description that it is fully functional. It came without flash and when I got one for it (EF-X8) the camera has zero reaction to sliding it in and flicking it up.
I cannot adjust flash operation in quick menu. I have only Manual and no flash options. The same flash works perfectly fine on another X-T1.
I cleaned hot shoe contacts with Isopropyl (even tough those looked clean) but it made no difference. Camera is on newest FW.
Is it a common...

Hi All,
I recently got 2nd hand X-T1.
When I got it on 1st power up it greeted me with language selection (I assume that seller just factory reset it for me before sending it).
However few days later when I turned it on it did the same thing... this could be a sign of failing internal battery (that cannot be replaced at home), which keeps the settings alive.
If this would be the case - would just fail altogether meaning that each power-up I would be getting back to initial setup or do they...

Do you know a cheap and compact case / sleeve / pouch for an X-T1 (or newer X-T5) with just the 8-55mm f/2.8-4 lens attached?
It's for a hiking trip where size, weight and protection matter
I've found a neoprene sleeve (e.g., MegaGear MG865) online but have not seen it in person

Note: I'm not asking for ISO advice advice like "what should I do to get less noise? what settings should I use?".. I'm past all that. This is just to improve my understanding of how ISO works.
Many articles that claim to tell you how it works, don't... they boil down to "here's what settings you should use" and "here's what happens if you don't". They gloss over how it actually works.
Example: "The reasons for potential decreases in quality when only increasing exposure in post-processing...

The X-S10 doesn't have the AF-S / AF-C / M switch at the front of the camera like most Fuji cameras do.
It doesn't have the touch screen selector for focus mode like the X-T100 does (another Fuji without the physical focus mode switch at the front).
How does one quickly change the focus mode?
I can change it either by diving in the menus or by using the Q button. Either method involves 3 steps. Can this be done in one step?

Had screen protector and after removing it there is a residue on the screen . Would would be the safest way to remove it not damaging the screen?
Thanks.

Hi folks,
by any chance do any of you have and used the XT3 for studio portraits in eye AF setting and is it (completely) reliable?
I just did a portrait session recently and most photos were okay but a few seemed “slightly” OOF, too soft looking. The camera’s AF-S simply didn’t nail and didn’t give me tack sharp photos every time. I’m talking about people being 100% still not moving. Shot at f6.3.
Im wondering if I would get better results with eye AF? I don’t know dudes but I feel that...

Does anyone have the title combination and suffered compatibility issues?
From the Tamron website the list of compatible Fuji cameras does not include X-T1, it goes from X-T2 and newer. I am wondering what is not compatible between the two: AF? Manual focusing? Aperture control?
Any first hand experience is much appreciated.

hi, I have recently purchased the new H2 and 16-80 kit lens. I have used it for the last 14 weeks and I am very pleased with how it works, and the photos it delivers. I don't do video, Im just a enthusiast returning to Fuji after first owning the XT1 when that first come out.
my question is, should I do any of the firmware updates? my camera is working fine, and I have read some posts where the camera becomes erratic or behaves different after doing the updates . am I worst off for not...

I am trying to start my journey as a professional photographer but I have a camera that does sport and portraits photography: a Canon camera and a Fujifilm camera.
