Hey all Looking at data/comparisons of EVFs. Trying to find something on paper which can correlate my experience of using EVF for fast manual focusing legacy lenses Limited, but goes like tis.... Fujifilm XPro1 - Terrible, too laggy unusable for my style XT1 - heck loads better. But not good enough, especially in duller conditions EM10 - Similar to XT1, but without so many MF aids EM10ii - Just perfect! Can focus quickly, EVF keeps up with me so I can manual focus fast and the response in the...
On the X-Pro1, when you used OVF and took a photo it would quickly change the display to EVF and show you the image, so you could "chimp" the image without pulling away from your eye. With OVF this could be important as it's not always WYSIWYG. For the life of me, after having it for over a year (and admittedly mostly using EVF) I cannot find the same setting for the X-Pro2. Is there a way to make it so I can see the image in the OVF viewfinder after I shoot a frame? While I'm here - I don't...
Hi all, I am quite interested in the Fuji X system since I primarily want to work with primes (35mm and 56mm and perhaps a 16/18mm). I am an enthusiast who shoots travel, landscape, candids, portraits and street. While I don't shoot much action I am looking to get something that reliably lets me get running children shots and other such slow action scenarios. -While the new X-E3 looks ideal for my purposes, I am wondering if I can't go cheaper so I can put my money on the lenses. How about...
Hi, Can someone please let me know if the X-Pro1 has a 'prieview pic exposure' setting and, if so, where it is. Also, should the exposure compensation dial 'show it's working' on the LCD / EVF, as you turn it, in C and S settings, or only M? I'm talking WYSIWYG. Thanks. OPL

For a while, I am considering a second body, initially in the X-E-series. But the X-Pro 1 is an intriguing cam, and with some patience, well priced copies in excellent condition can be found. Since I almost exclusively shoot adapted lenses (manual focus / manual aperture), I have some questions about the OVF-framelines, and about the LCD&EVF focussing assist, in particular magnification (as I do not really like the focus peaking with color highlight) I read the manual on the Fuji-site, and...
Is their any reason a camera, such as the XPRO1, E-M5 or A6000, cannot be software upgraded to feature the silent electronic shutters of their next generation models (E-M5ii/A6300)? Further to this: What other features could be implemented in firmware upgrades?eg support for higher memory card capacity? AF Auto finetune (nikons)? Thank you
Dear all, I am addicted to ZEISS lenses since I used the fabulous 25mm and the 50mm ZF on my Nikon D300 some years ago. Today, I am shooting with a PEN-F and Leica/Olympus lenses, but I am missing the fantastic Zeiss rendering. If I flip through my old files, I can differentiate at a glance between Zeiss and Nikkor shots (esp. for the 25mm). So, I am looking for a modern option to shot with Zeiss. The X-Pro1 is one of these, since I can get the body and the 32+12 for less than 1800€. Another...

Hi, Does anyone use the OVF in the X-pro2 to manual focus? If so, how is it? Do you just resort to using the EVF all the time? I'm wondering if people can share their experiences with using manual lenses on their x-pro2, especially with the OVF and focus assist in the corner. I really love leica lenses because of the focusing tab allowing me to zone focus really quickly, but digital leicas cost so much... I used to own the x-pro1, used a lens adapter to it, but it was impossible to manually...
