Hello. So I've made the call to buy the Fujifilm X-T30. It seems like a very good camera to start with. Since I will still be learning photography, is it worth buying a prime lens as well? And if it is, which one should I go for from the Fuji line up? If I do go for prime, it would be one that works great for outdoor and city photography. Probably the Fujifilm XF 16mm F1.4 R WR or Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R or another. Thank you. Kind regards, Sizwe

I have a medium sized bag with a handy Fuji X-E3 which I use next to my full frame Nikon system. One of the little annoyances I have with the Fuji is that the lens/autofocus seems to reset when reviewing my images. This results in a delay when you want to get back to taking pictures after reviewing your image. Because first the lens has to get back to the last focus position. On my 23 F1.4, that's no problem because the throw is shorter or the AF is fast enough, but on its significantly...
Hello, I heard that this is one of the sharpest primes in the X line, but I'm having real trouble at lower apertures. There's just way too much chromatic aberration, but what's more of an issue is that it is just almost unusably soft at F1.4 which is really the main reason I bought this lens instead of the lighter, quicker and cheaper 23mm F2. I'm quite new to the Fuji system, so I don't know if this is normal or if I have a bad copy. I've inserted images taken at ISO 200 with auto SS at...

Hello experienced professionals! I need an advice to my first body and lenses for amateur family photographs. Since 2012 I was using NIKON FF D600 with a lot of primes and zooms, but sold all of them except Tamron 24-70/2.8 VC , Nikon 85mm f/1.8 G and a SB800 flash … until I realized that they are too heavy to carry around, can’t make a decent video and I just do not use them as often as I wish. So I decided that now it’s the right moment to change the gear for something lighter and more...
Hello, I just bought in a shop a 23mm 1.4 Fuji used. I tested it not really well in the shop, I just check the focusing and it was right, but when I returned home, after a few test I saw that this lens is a completely mess. In the example you can see with infinite focusing at 1.4 it's definitely defective. What you guys think? I'm so sad about it, I have to return it and buy a new one. Surprised that the shop didn't check it before selling. Thanks!! 1.4 1.4 1.4 1.4 4 2 I think

Hi Everyone, Please accept my apologies for the long post, I wanted to make sure I can share as much background information as I should about my question. I have been doing smartphone photography for the last 2 years (IG) with my Google Pixel. I decided to up my game and purchased a Fuji X-T20 + Fuji 35mm f1.4 lens. I read on the Internet how the 50mm equivalent focal length is a good starting point for learning photography on a real camera and decided to forgo the kit lens because I did not...
I previously own a Sony A7II as my daily camera. But, couple days ago, my father bought me a Fujifilm X-Pro 2 for my 21st birthday. I'm quite surprised that he bought the camera body only (without lens). My question is, what lense should I buy considering that I love to shot photo of sunset and I'm into night photography. Thank you to those who spend time to read and answering my question. Hope you have a good day.
I've been very pleased with a new Godox V860ii that I've been using with my X-Pro2. Excellent flash and the Li-ion battery pack makes a huge difference with super-fast recycle times. It's also a breeze to control either from the main flash unit or from the in-camera menu systems. One question though: I'm using the XF 23mm F1.4, but for some reason, the flash AUTOZOOM automatically sets to 18mm. I can change this manually to 23mm but I was wondering why it defaults to 18mm in auto. (With the...

Hello I'm looking for some advice from those with experience of the above two lenses. I've got a Fuji XT-1 with the above two lenses plus the 56mm f/1.2. I use this camera for portrait photography but I've been thinking about my backpacking and hiking trips recently. I keep running into some beautiful locations armed with just the iPhone and a Sony RX100. But I feel leaving my XT-1 at home is such a shame. So I'm considering taking it on future adventures where possible. So my questions are,...
