Please help me understand. The viewfinder on my X100F blinks when I browse thru the different menu settings.  Is this normal? The camera is brand new. I just unboxed it. I've attached a video to showcase the weird behavior below.  Your kind assistance is highly appreciated! Thank you.

Looking for a sling-style camera bag (preferably with a top zip for easy access) for XH1 with 50mm f2 attached, with space for my 90mm and my X100F. Need to be able to get it on the UK market and I don’t need space for anything else, trying to keep it as small and not bulky as possible! Any suggestions are great! (Not keen on how square the peak design ones are, quite like the HEX Ranger sling but it’s too long at around 37cm)

I love the X100F, but there was 1 aspect in particular that made was a deal breaker and caused me to sell that camera. I use it like a film point and shoot (only digital) and I often want to use the on camera flash, but If I use the filter adapter ring with my black promist filter on my X100F, the flash vignettes pretty noticeably. My solution was to use the XF-8 flash that came with my XT-2 on my X100, I hate having to bring around my Q20 flash because it defeats the whole purpose of a 1...

Hi everyone, I hope I can word this question properly.I was wondering what the differences there are (other than image quality) between using a 35mm lens  (and having the camera "digitally zoom" by cropping to look like a 50mm) versus actually using a 50mm lens in regards to background separation, facial distortion and depth of field when it comes to portraiture.I ask because I have just picked up a Fujifilm X100F, which has a fixed 35mm equivalent lens; but also allows for "zoom" or cropping...

Hello all, I'm a newbie and trying to convert RAF files from my Fuji X100F to JPEG programmatically. I'm using MacBook Pro '18 Catalina. #1. ufraw ufraw-batch --wb=camera --exposure=0 --out-type=jpeg --compression=100 3.raf This resulted a segment fault. [1] 89530 segmentation fault ufraw-batch --wb=camera --exposure=0 --out-type=jpeg --compression=100 3.raf I googled and found other people having segment fault but couldn't find a solution. #2. sips ➜ sips -s format jpeg 3.raf --out...

I've been reading these forums for days looking for my ideal kit and have narrowed down my choices quite a bit. I hope you can help me make a decision. I'm planning a couple of trips through Europe where I will travel by bicycle partially offroad. I will camp in the outdoors and I don't plan on doing any city roaming. I mainly want to shoot landscapes and try some astrophotography. I want to bring just one camera and no more than two lenses. Camera choice X-T2 vs X-T20 the 2 has some...

For those of you who own the X100F and have added the Fuji filter adapter, Fuji clear filter and a lens cap.  1. How much additional length to the lens has the 3 pieces added. 2. What brand lens cap have you added and your likes/dislikes of the cap you added. thx JSJoe S

Got my X100V yesterday. Nothing special to report. No overheating issues, the front ring is smooth. Everything seems better on this version of the camera. Like it a lot so far. BUT I'm still trying to understand how I can use Auto ISO easily like I was able to with the X100F. Maybe someone here can help. There are 3 Auto ISO presets. With the X100F, those presets were included in the dial rotation when the top ISO dial was in A mode. On the X100V, there's an A and a C mode. In C mode, the...

Another thing I noticed last night when setting up my X100V. In the Image Quality settings, when I choose anything else than 0 for the NR (noise reduction) setting, it takes about 2 seconds for the camera to record the image on the SD card (I get the STORING message on the screen). When NR is at 0, it's instantaneous, just like it's supposed to be. Did you notice the same thing? I have a fast high-quality card from SanDisk and I had no similar issue on the X100F (same card). I understand the...

Hi all, Just a quick question..... Who doesn't actually use the tilt screen on their cameras? Just wondering as there is soooo much contention about the different systems. I was thinking last night and pondering the new X100V and X-T4. I've had an X100F and own an X-T3. Thing is, I can't remember the last time I tilted a screen at all!! Anyone else like me??? Oliver ps: I'm not sooo enthused about the X-T4 screen tilt system but....   --No, I don't have an iPad. Not getting one either.
