This review is about the S4300, that is exactly as the S4200 but with a 26x zoom instead of a 24x one. Coming off of a Canon PowerShot S2 IS (with a .45x, 2.0x & 3.4x converters) I find the picture quality quite good at all ranges except closeup or macros (they have a "fish-eye" appearance). Color is vibrant, and it has a bunch of automatic & manual controls. Other features include face recognition (it even recognizes my cats) , & SDXC compatibility.
