So my Z6 reserve is Paid off, but the S1 really has me tempted. Looking at the Primes specifically, they're around the same size, but the Bodies seem to differ enough to lean me towards the Z6. However, I think the L-Mount will have the lenses i want sooner, but I do you think the size between the bodies are that significant? I mean lenses mean more in the long run, but is the S1 too large?
Hello, I am looking at many different options to have long telephoto capabilities without having to change lenses, for instance when I;m at the beach with my kids. I would prefer a camera/lens that has WR along with good AF that can capture active kids. If I opt for a superzoom bridge camera, I want to keep my costs down (ruling out the Sony RX10 iii or iv). I tried the Panasonic FZ300 a couple of years ago for a few days but I was not happy with the images from the 12mp small sensor. Are...
Hello, Just a basic snapper here with a basic question. I've had an entry level Fujifilm Finepix S camera for several years, and have never really used it much, or explored it's functions. I'm going on a trip, and would like to know how I can save shots to the 8GB Memory Card which I've installed and formatted to the camera. I want to do this so that the internal memory doesn't get too full, and also as an easy way to get the photos from the card into my MacBook and Photoshop for editing...
Is there any consensus among the veteran photographers here concerning the many internet "professional" reviewers out there. A few that come to mind are CNET, Imagine Resources, Photography Blog, DP Review, etc. I've looked at a lot of them and they seem to be all over the board reviewing the exact same "bridge" camera. Are there some of them than can be relied upon to give generally good solid reviews? Or is it just a crap shoot on what camera will return a good image. I understand the...

I am looking to get a tripod soon. I would like to keep the total including ball head under $200 USD. I currently have a Fujifilm S1 and in the coming months I plan on getting a Pentax K50. The tripod will be mostly used for landscapes, long exposures, and a little bit of astrophotography. Portability would be nice but I would rather have stability and strength if there is a trade off. I am totally new to the tripod market so I don't really know what direction to go. I found one that seems to...
Hi, I successfully used the panorama feature of the S1 (of course I also make panoramas with applications like Autopano or Hugin) and found it correct. But after I do not know which change, I cannot take any more panoramas: the camera always says "move faster". Does any one know why ? Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards
