I've used many digital cameras, I deal in them. I like the 28mm lens it has. It's easy on batteries. Accurate colors and good overall image quality. Problems: I found it hard to see the settings on the LCD in sunlight when using manual mode. So, I switched to P mode and let the camera pick the settings and I seem to have gotten good results. When trying to change settings, the < > button on the back didn't seem to be very responsive. I had to push it 2 or 3 times to change a setting.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
Fujifilm FinePix E500 Zoom
The images are soft and lack sharpness, the movie quality is not that attractive, only 2 seconds of longest exposure time is not even adequet for low light scenes, can only save images in jpg makes the retouching process less productive, and the zoom is not nearly as effective as other 3X opitical zooms. However, if you're considering buying a camera for your kids, or if you're a beginner trying to experiment with digital photography, you really don't want to miss out on this camera.
