Hi EOS-M gang I'm planning to use an EOS-M camera as a webcam but haven't worked out which model would work best for me, and I'd really appreciate your advice, please. My requirements are: Must function with the EOS Utility: Based on the product drop down on this webpage, I believe all models of EOS-M camera fulfil this requirement. Must be able to take power from USB. I've been searching manuals for this functionality (e.g.) but I can't find it officially mentioned, although I see anecdotal...

Hello, everyone! I'd like to know which of the two lenses focuses faster with the Canon EOS M6 Mark II.If there are any users of both lenses I will be happy for them to share an opinion. Thanks in advance!

I wear glasses and must use my left eye. Trying to figure out "nose space". No problem with my M50 with swivel screen. Had a Lumix GX85 with tilt only and just a 7mm distance so the LCD always got greased. Don't know anyone shooting an M6II and the last real camera store in town closed nine years ago :-(

So a while ago I got an M6 ii. I own a Sigma 18-35 F1.8, was using with a Viltrox EF-M2 speedbooster on my Panasonic cameras, but I was over the crappy autofocus of those cameras, so switched to Canon body to keep using this lens too. Researched the EF-M to EF adapters and settled on the Fotodiox supposedly basically being as good as the official Canon adapter for ALOT less money. The Villtrox EF to M43 Speedbooster on the panasonic...ROCK SOLID. Never loose, never worried. But this Fotodiox...

Hi all, is anyone using this setup? Is it possible? If so, which brand/model teleconverter and what are the limitations? TIA

Is it true that the Canon EOS M50 is a really bad camera and that even a smartphone with Filmic Pro and some good lenses can produce better image and video quality than it? Should I buy the Canon M50 if a smartphone can produce video and image just as good? This question also applies to all Canon M series mirrorless cameras.

Hello fellow M user I just bought a M6 II camera and I want to get back to Bird in Fly. I actually have 2 "long" lens a Canon EF 200mm Macro and the old Canon EF 100-300 . I whish to get one fast lens. In the past I had a 5DII with the Canon 500 F4, but I sold them during  a bad live episode. I miss the quality of the 500 F4, but I didn't regret its weight.

I love my M6 II and all the manual controls it has, but I've an extra button or 2 that I don't actually have anything useful mapped to.  I'm looking for ideas and inspiration, maybe I'm missing something obvious that would change the way I use the camera that I haven't thought about.. what does your general set-up look like? Shutter button - Metering & AF start M-Fn - Magnify Dial function button - Still img aspect ratio AF-ON - Metering mode AE Lock - AF method AF point button - One-Shoft...

Just got a shiny new EOS M6 mkii and I am trying to get my timelapse setup dialed in, but I am running into a few oddities. My main focus is night landscapes and star trails, but I would like to extend that to full overnight captures with tricky evening and morning transitions. - Any exposures 1s or longer end with a "BUSY" screen for a second. My OG EOS M only needed 1s between frames, but the M6 mkii needs 4 full seconds to avoid collisions, leaving huge gaps in star trails. Exposures of...

TL;DR: any suggestions for smallest possible bag for EOS M6 II with 18-150 attached, top-loading, attachable to backpack strap. THANKS! Long Version:   Currently using LowePro Dashpoint 30 poch which tightly fits my EOS M + 18-150. Now upgrading to M6 II, which will not fit. Unfortunately LowePro has no larger size Dashpoint.  Lookign for an absolutely minimalist bag/pouch. No side pockets, not much padding nor wheather protection (I just use a regular freezer bag when needed), but want to...
