Hello, I need to make pictures at certain intervals of time. I am using my smartphone as remote controller and it works pretty well, also with the continuous shot. But I do not understand why it's not possilble to set automatic shots with a defined delay. EOS Utility (with the camera connected to the PC via USB) does not give the chance to make remote shots with the M100. I wonder why, but it is asit is. I would like to know, please: 1) do you know any app for smartphone that works as...

I am trying to use the M100 as a webcam, with an Elgato HDMI capture device. I get video signal but no audio. Any guess why this might be?Many thanks!Armando --'Heavens declare the glory of God,' and I hope my pictures will too.https://www.flickr.com/photos/arodri3/

Hi everyone I want to buy a camera as I find myself repeatedly frustrated at the low quality of iPhone 8 pics. I am new to photography and still learning about all the technical aspects. Below are three options I am considering in my price range of below $600. Ultimately I want a compact camera that produces high, crisp quality that is good for photographing friends, landscapes, buildings and art. 1. Fujifilm xt100  2. Canon Eos m100  3. Sony A6000 -  What are your thoughts?

Is it possible to make adjustments to raw images and convert to jpeg in-camera with the m200?  The review suggests that while the m100 had this capability, the m200 does not, or has less capability.  Can an m200 owner verify?

I've been following a new mini-obsession with compact sized cameras that also come cheaply. My "main" one is the X-T20, and while I love it, I just can't bring myself to carry it around most of the time. So, I've started doing what I do best - bargain hunting. The local used market seems to have the EOS M100 with kit lens for 150$ if I'm lucky, and compared to eBay it seems like a good deal. Everything (except the lack of EVF) seems to point to this being a nigh-perfect camera for my...

Hi everyone. Sorry to have to ask this here but I haven't figured this out myself yet. I'm using an off camera flash and first exposing for the background (darker). When I half press the shutter button the screen/image brightens to focus on the subject, but then stays this way until after a photo is taken. Is there an easy way to go back to the 'real' live view (in this case darker) without having to take a photo? i.e. reset it. Similar thing with AE lock, on the M100 you press * to lock and...

Hi, I'm off on Safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa in April and have decided now is the time to invest in a camera. I'm completely new to this and have always just used a smart phone for photos.  I've done lots of reading online and I'm thinking a mirrorless camera (because of the size), specifically a Sony A6000 with the Tamron 18-200mm VC lens for the safari and then switching it to physically smaller lense for the rest of the trip around south Africa (perhaps the standard kit...

It all fits together, and I am able to even manual focus (auto not allowed), but the shot will not take upon shutter release...and aperture shows F00 in the display. What might I need to to do to remedy? Thanks so much for any advice!!!

The time lapse shuts down after 200 or so images and doesnt save the images. If I shut it off before-hand it will save the images and generate the movie. I tried all different parameters and it still will not complete the sequence or save the images. Everything else works fine. Am I doing something wrong or is this a software issue?
