Hi, my apologies if this has been asked before, or if it is really obvious. I only shoot RAW, as I don't see the benefit of using decent glass and then trusting the basic jpeg conversion in the camera when a full conversion suite is available for free. My question is, can I send the RAW files directly from the camera using the built-in sharing features?  I know that CIG and Flickr don't support RAW - Onedrive does, but is not supported by the camera.  Is there any other way I extract RAW...

Hi.  I have just bought a bargain EOS M10 as a second body to my EOS 40D.  I am using the EF-M adaptor so I can use my old lenses with it.  I have not bought a new lens for a long time, so I'm not in touch with the current options. I have a Sigma 18-50 f2.8 (not the newer macro version) that I really liked on the 40D, but the focus (especially low-light) is really poor with the M10 and an adaptor, which is a shame since the size combination is perfect.  I have contacted Sigma, and they say it...

Hi, I am looking for a powerful flash (50+) to use remotely with my Olympus E M10. I need it to be able to use high speed sync while not on the camera and preferrably TTL also. I'm finding it very hard to know which flashes will provide me with HSS remotely so does anyone have any first hand suggestions? All help appreciated!

Hello It's my first post here, so I take the opportunity to greet and thank the help in advance. Sorry for any mistake in my english... The question is that I want to initiate in mirrorless world. I'm watching three models of cameras: a6000, Oly M10 II y Pan GX80. However, I always have a6000 one in my mind but I can't ignore that is a two years old camera. I know theoretical differences in features, that Oly and Pan are newer models, but I can't decide. Video is not very important for me...

I currently have some kit lenses that came with my Lumix G6 and OM-D E-M10. I have 14-42 f4.0-5.6 and 45-150 f4.0-5.6 in both Olympus and Panasonic versions. I am considering selling these and purchasing the Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO 35-100mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. Lens MFR # H-FS35100K and the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH MFR # H-FS12032K . Would these two lenses be good choices to work with the G6 and M10 and replace my current lenses? They would be used mainly for...

I have Canon EOS M10 and I have a lot of coins I would like to take pictures of. They range from 16 mm (Polish 1 Grosz) to 38 mm (Morgan dollar). What lens would you recommend for this job? The pictures of my coins should be as big as possible.

Hello. After days of researching and testing out different cameras in camera stores, I've narrowed down to two choices: The Olympus OM-D E-M10 ii and the Sony A6000. As an aspiring ethnographic researcher/journalist and a medic in the army, I want to photographically record my experiences.  That being said, I'm avoiding DSLRs as they are too big and bulky in the field. Testing out the two cameras, I noticed that the M10 ii autofocuses much faster and smoother than the A6000. Also, the...

Hi there, have just signed up to ask this question: I live quite a drive from a store which displays these cameras. I have driven twice to look/feel/try/compare the above two models. But there is one thing I didn't check out...Can the articulated M5-2 screen be positioned in the manner of the M10-2 screen (ie immediately behind the camera back) or does it have to be folded out to the side of the camera? TIA, Sullivan

Hey everyone. The reason I'm asking this is, I want to start using manual white balance instead of the auto I've been using. I tried a grey card and that didn't quite give me the results I want so I'm moving on to the manual mode, it looks easy enough to do as you can see the image color changing as you adjust the Kelvin after pressing info while in the white balance setting, if the lcd is showing the true color (or close to it) this would be great. I do shoot in raw and I know this can be...
