I am trying to pick out a 64gb memory card for my new EOS 70D (I may also use it in my EOS M). I've been trying unsuccessfully to find out what the maximum speed the 70D is capable of utilizing is. For example, Amazon has a selection of SanDisk cards on sale, but I was unsure if a maximum write speed of 40/MBsec is fast enough -- I've seen some reviewers mention using 80/MBsec cards instead and I don't want the card to be a bottleneck. On the other hand, I'm not planning to buy another camera...
Hi.photography is my Hobby. I have an EOS 60D with several lenses. i like to have my Camera with me anywhere but it's not possible & i know this is a problem fot many of us !!i want to ask; is EOS M suitable as a second & more available & accessible camera for me ?!!the most important question is autofocus speed. you think, it will be acceptable for me (in compered with EOS 60D) ?!!tanQ.
Is the EF-M 22mm sold in a retail package? Because I just bought one on Amazon from a third party seller and expected it in a nice Canon box, but instead I received the bulk gray package with no logos. Maybe it was part of a kit? I'm not sure if returning it, the amazon one is 40$ more (190 euros instead of 225 euros, yeah we don't have your amazing 99$ price over here...) Thank you so much
I saw this ad on craigslist for an old Canon AE-1 and lenses. My question is will these lenses work on an EOS M with the EF adapter? Here is the link to the ad. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pho/4086884944.html Btw. i would be cool if canon made a retro looking camera resembling the AE-1.

I was looking through my pictures and I noticed that the focal length reported for the 22mm f2 lens was 55mm... I know it's my cat, but he is a willing model so... But you can see the lens is reported one way but the focal length the other. One is WRONG! I also checked the raw file with the same results. Could this happen by changing lenses with the power on? I also have the 11-55 EF M lens as well. Actually, I am not sure if the lens is reported wrong of the focal length. Come to think...
I have bought an third party adaptor (Kiwiphotos) , and everything seems to fit OK, but whatever mode I use, I can't get the camera to release the shutter. I suspect I have to disable something like auto focus, but can't find a way to do it. It should be possible. I can go to Manual Focus when my Canon zoom is attached, but not with the adaptor. I guess the same problem might apply to other attachments, like maybe extension tubes.

I do corporate video (interviews and the like) with a 6D. I've been keeping an eye on the M w/18-55IS as a possible B camera, which would also give me a stabilized auto-focusing video option that I just can't possibly get with the 6D, if I really have to get video of some kind of people in motion. My primary video would still come from the 6D, but the M would be a nice small b camera. Now I know there are other video camera options out there that would do better than the M, but they are...
Hello, I have a 1.5 years old deughter and I'm looking for a camera with good image quality (until now I had only point and shoot cameras). It seems that the EOS M can deliver great image quality, but I read it is not good for children because of it's slow autofocus (even after the firmware update). Other options are the Olympus E-PM2 or the Sony NEX-3n, but from what I saw I prefer the Canon's colors, and it seems it's image quality is great (I won't be able to buy more lenses right now, and...
Hello, I'm a beginner, and until now I only used simple point and shoot cameras. I do love to take pictures, and I decided it's time to step up to a better camera. I use the camera at home and outside, and use it for people including my 1.5 years old daughter. I'm looking for a camera that will give me good image quality, and also nice effects like shallow depth of field. I won't be able to buy more lenses in the near future, so I'll use the kit lens. I almost decided to buy the Olympus...
