Hey everyone, I'm about to purchase a 5d mark iv, after waiting 2 years to upgrade to a 6d mark ii, i found on eBay a mark iv for 200£ more than the pro order of the 6d, so for the money and value it would be a mistake to buy the 6d. Because I never actually considered the 5d as a viable upgrade from my 70d, i didn't consider how expensive buying a new CF card would be. My question is if its possible to program the 5d to process the pictures through a fast CF but then store them on a SD card....

Hi guys, I was hoping you could help! I was shooting a maternity shoot last week during 'golden hour' some of the photos have out with a giant blue triangle over them. I have shot this way many times before and have never encountered anything like it. I was using Canon 70d and a 50mm lens. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much. I have attached an example photo. Deimante
Evening all... I have my very first wedding shoot in a week. It's a friends wedding and they are aware I'm not a "Professional" but love my photos so asked me to do their wedding. Ceremony / Reception all in one place, see photos. I have a few questions that I'm looking for some advice on: My Gear: Canon 70D, Canon 24-70 2.8, Canon 70-200 2.8, Canon 50 1.4 600EX II, 430 EXII, light stands, umbrellas if necessary (hoping to avoid), and Flashpoint Triggers. Questions: 1) I'm planning on...
Hi, I have just been using a sigma 17-50 f2.8 with my eos 70d but apear that the focus sometimes is not very sharp. I have already adjust the compensation of the focus several times but I get the feeling that my photos are always with a pour sharpness or focus. I have reacently read that the type of sensor, Cross type, may not be working with the sigma and that could be reason for the pour focus accuracy. does anyone have an thought about this that can share? I'm doing anything wrong or just...
I have a question which has been bugging me for months and now that I am/can be shooting fireworks almost every week. Shooting with a 16-300mm lens, tripod-mounted and shooting by hand (no remote). I am seeking a camera mode, shooting mode or whatever, that would allow me to shoot single or multiple the fireworks but allow for a faster image preview so that I can check on settings and adjust as necessary, then continue shooting. As you know, fireworks can be a very hit-or-miss situation. I...

Hello, I need some help. I cannot connect my new 70D camera with my Samsung S6 android device version 6.0.1 using the Camera Connect app. My phone has no problem connecting to my camera's SSID but the app will not connect. I go through all the steps in the easy connection guide setup (on the camera connect app) but it just doesn't progress any further than saying select the wifi and then return to this page...which i stay on forever! I have tried so many things! - using both camera access...
I have the Canon 70D, I've noticed that often when I'm focusing on a subject or something it is out of focus and the actual area of focus is usually a lower point in the frame. It's extremely frustrating becuase trying to view it in the viewfinder is difficult and noticing it after importing to Lr is even more frustrating. I tried to pinpoint if it happens in one of the AF modes, but was unable. Anyone ever experience something like this and/or can recommend a solution? Any advice is...

So while I don't plan on doing this in a studio (most likely back yard or park), I'm looking for some advice on the lighting setup. The couple wants this style image, and specifically asked to imitate the shadow. My gear: Canon 70D, 600EX flash, 430EX flash, light stands, one large umbrella, two smaller umbrellas. I have all of the backdrop/stands/seamless paper. My concerns, my Canon 70D is not very good at higher ISO. Concerned that without continuous lighting, my recycle time on the...
