I am just starting out and would love to get into the landscape side of things and would like to get a new lens for the job and im not sure what to go for. The main focus will be broad open landscapes with alot of open skys through sunrise and sunset, and waterfall locations I have a 650D with a budget of $1000 ( hoping to stay under that though ) I understand there are probably many and my question leaves it open to alot of lenses as im still a novice im not sure what else to add to make it...
I just got an X30. I have an intervalometer left over from my T4i days. I bought a 2.5mm adapter that B&H said would work. All the release button on the intervalometer does is FOCUS the camera. I have plugged it into the micro USB AND the 2.5mm jack. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance,Tim

I know t4i doesn't have the micro focus adjustment on the body. Using the EOS Utility I can get the micro focus adjustment to work on certain lenses (50mm 1.8, 40mm, 18-135mm) but I can't get the micro focus adjustment to work on the 100mm. Any ideas? thanks in advance
Hi. Newb here. I just got a Fuji X30, and want to take Perseid meteors this week. How come, when I choose MANUAL mode, I can't set the shutter for more than 4 seconds? ISO is set at 1600, aperture at 2.0. I had a Canon T4i that I could go up to 30 sec, or bulb. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! TIA.

As they got nearer to full I started to get corrupted images appearing, in fact they started to become corrupted as i was cycling through images - on the camera itself! The image would shrink to a thumbnail with a message saying it cannot display the image. When i connect them to my PC to view/download the images when i...
I have had my G3X for two months. I took it on a two week trip to Iceland . I have the Canon battery and three third party batteries. The third time I used the Canon battery the camera hand hold became rather warm and the battery somewhat hot. This only happened with the Canon battery and not the third party batteries. Has anyone else had this issue? Canon wants me to send the camera and battery into their repair service. Before doing that I thought I would see if this has happened to others...
