Hi All,I am a newbie to the Flashpoint XPLOR 600 TTL HSS and I just received it yesterday. Super excited to work with it.I was asked to take indoor shots of my daughters swim team (one on one portraits)My camera is on 1/250, ISO 100 and F7.1I use my sekonic 308 and it says to use 2.8. It was way to over exposed, so I tried taking down the power on the Flash unit.I wan to get this right and will practice until the shoot.Does anyone have any advice? (I will keep searching on Youtube), but...

Hi, I really need some suggestions for a budget, motorized, 2 axis (EQ) head for a photography tripod. I have a Manfrotto 055 Tripod. I'd be shooting with a Canon 5D Mk IV with 1 of several lenses. I have a 14mm f2.8 Rokinon fully manual, a 100mm f2.8 Canon non-L Macro, a 24-105mm f4 IS Canon L, and a 70-200mm f4 IS Canon L with the option of using a Canon 1.4x extender Mk II. Oh, and a "nifty fifty" that I never use unless I must have light no matter what. ;) Now, the words, EQ, motorized,...

Hi, I could use some possible suggestions for a good rain sleeve for a 5D Mk IV. I do mostly landscape and nature so flash isn't such a big deal, but a separate piece that you could attach and use your flash would be nice to have if it didn't send the price into the roof. For lenses I currently have a 70-200mm F4 IS L, a 24-105mm F4 IS L, 100mm F2.8 Macro, and a 14mm Rokinon fully manual lens which has the flower pedal permanently attached to the lens. Oh, also, if you have any item, any...

There are ways to choose the selectable AF modes on the 5D Mark IV. Is there any way to choose the selectable drive modes? I often switch between silent continuous and high-speed continuous, so this would be really helpful for me (they aren't next to each other).

I Just did a shoot using my old canon 7d mk 1 and my new 5dmk4. I set the 7 on large raw and the 5d on medium to try to create similar file sizes. Both produced file raw sizes of around 25mb, however when processing through Lightroom, the 7d produced an average size jpeg of 15mb, 5184 x 3456 and the 5d gave me an average size of 7mb 5040 x 3360. Any ideas? Will

So given the same settings and even the same lens in the same lighting conditions, my photos coming out of the EOS R are slightly brighter than the 5DIV. Is this just the way JPEGS are processed in the R?

Hello, I was wandering how does the M60 II generally perform with adapted EF lenses. Did anybody try it with the 400/500/600mm whites? I use 400 DO II with 1.4xTC always on 5D IV. Sample images, especially in higher ISO range are very welcome. thanks! --www.tokyoshot.com

Hello All, My current gear is, Body : Canon 5D MK IV and Canon 60D (might replace 60D sometime next year) Lens : Canon EF 100-400 MK II and Canon EF-S 15-85 Photography Type : 65% birds and 35% mammals On my 5DMKIV, I always use 100-400 + 1.4x TC and so off-late, I have been renting 500 F4 II or 600 F4 III. Now, have found Canon 200-400 (with TC) which is ~2 year old and Canon 500 F4 which is 9 months old in used market. For my photography, I think 200-400 would be short, and so thinking...

Hello DP Review, I am confused by how Canon markets the 70-200 f4 IS II (second generation). Some reviews of the lens start with the words "Canon aims this lens at enthusiasts and semi-professional users, and as such, the lens is meant to be used with cameras such as 6D Mark II and 80D". Does this mean that the lens is going to underperform on a 5D Mark IV? On a 5Dsr? What exactly is "enthusiast" about the lens whose predecessor, even without image stabilisation, is still referred to as a...
