Hey Folks Sorry. I did post this in the "Adapters" section already. Just trying to cast a wider net for some feedback. I've got 3 Nikon Ais F mount lenses all mounted on separate Fotodiox adapters I'm trying to use on my Canon 1DX primarily for shooting video. It's stop down metering of course. Here's my issue. The metering works fine when shooting stills. In the live view mode the meter appears at the bottom of the frame/screen as it should. But for some reason the scale is way off. The...
I want to buy an adaptor FD to EF to use my great old FD 1.2f on my 5D. In looking at the pictures of an adaptor from amazon ( the blue one ), that permits f stop adjustment and focus to infinity, the glass in the adaptor looks much smaller then my full frame sensor. Upon asking them a question about cropping, I got answers all over the place. Several said there will be a 1.4X crop. Does that mean I will loose almost half the size of my FF sensor? They also sell an adaptor with no glass, and...
Hey Folks My first post here. I hope someone can help me with an issue. Hello My 5d Mark II has developed a strange problem. Even in perfect light when you try and take a picture it sets the shutter speed to 1 second or greater so basically all the pictures are just completely white! What could be going on and what could I try to do to fix it? Thank you Phil
Hi, I have read a lot of things about exposure last months, (thanks Iliah B and Andrew R) What I understand is that first I define my exposure (time/aperture) then ISO (optimal exposure). Trying to understand which Iso I'm going to put in my camerabody, should I follow this graph ? http://photonstophotos.net/Charts/PDR_Shadow.htm#Canon%20EOS%205D%20Mark%20II,Sony%20ILCE-7R If I understand, my Sony A7r is close to iso-invariance, and I don't have much ameliorations by pushing iso incamera....
Hello I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am looking to get some lighting that will live in a recording studio / stage area. I would like this lighting to also be able to double up for general photography work, portraits ets. So it needs to be an all rounder really and preferable be able to be triggered by a camera and stay on to light the stage if needed. around £200 I am not sure where to start looking! (i am from the UK) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
