Hi All - I'm trying to find out what the actual shutter count is on my Canon 5d2.  I've tried 3 different apps, including FreeShutterCounter, and either they don't work on a Mac, or the count is wildly inaccurate.  (FreeShutterCounter listed 532, when I've had the camera for years and it must be up in the 10, 000's... ) Anyone have a good method for shutter counting to share?  I'm selling my 5d2 and want to give an accurate account of its life. thanks! Seamus

Hi everyone, I would like to do some b roll footages and I only have a  5d mark iii and 24-70 2.8 L USM II lens  If i only can record 25fps at 1080p then what are my options to come out with smooth slow mo?  Premiere Pro :  Ctrl+R and put it 50% and then put it optical flow and render? Is this the only option because that’s not that smooth as some of the awesome YouTube video’s B rolls Thanks to everyone 😊

I want to have wireless trigger which can be used for any combinations of my gear. Godox or Cactus... but I am so confused which ones I should buy. Could anyone give me any advise, please? thank you

I have the Canon 5D Mark II with the battery grip and batteries. My question is, are both the battery grip and batteries compatible with the Mark IV? Thank you.

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some advice and I'd really appreciate any help, tips, and tricks on how to overcome this problem next time. So I’ve bought a Canon M5 a few months ago and so far I’m loving it and I’m really satisfied with the images. Last weekend I had a chance to take it on a camping trip where I was experimenting with long exposure star trail photos. I took this image and as you can see it didn’t turn out that great. The lines are not connecting even with using the gap filling...

Hey guys, my Canon Mark II just broke and it would need a motherboard replacement.. Probably about 200€ + work time. I could change it on my own but even then it would still be 200€ and I have no guarantee it works afterwards. Is it worth to have the motherboard replaced? I'm thinking on selling it on eBay and co. And how should I sell it? As a whole broken camera (everything else was working fine before the motherboard broke) or part for part ? I'm quite confident with taking it apart. How...

At the beginning of October I'll be visiting the ALMA telescope at the Atacama desert in Chile. It is one of the cleanest places in the world when it comes to light pollution. The altitude is 5060 meters (16,000 ft) and the air is thin and clean. I have a 5D mark II, and: 50mm f1,8, a 100-400 f4, and the kit lens. I am looking for recommendation of lenses which I would rent if needed. I also also would like to hear some tips from people who took night sky shots, and can share...

Since getting my first full frame body I've made it a practice to install (apply?) a tempered glass protective shield over the rear LCD screen to prevent scratches. I never had a problem with any of the previous installations on two 5Dii bodies, two 6D bodies, and a 5Dsr body. However, despite all efforts to thoroughly pre-clean the LCD on my 5D4, not one of my four different attempts to apply the tempered glass shield has been completely successful. In each case a substantial portion (1/4th...

I've had my 5dmkii for almost two years now, bought it secondhand and it has served me well, however i can feel it slowly dying on me - it is getting quite slow, and having issues with switching on and off, so im prepared to say goodbye. I run a small photography business, freelancing around the city doing portraits and headshots on location as well as in my home studio, so will need a new camera. I have a few options in front of me: 1. Get a 5dmkiii/iv - i love the way the 5d works and have...

Whenever I review a picture and press the "+" button, it goes to biggest magnification factor. I then have to press"-" to zoom back out. I remember on the 7D it wasnt like this, more like press the "+" button once for 5x and again for 10x. is this a setting issue?
