Hi I use Canon 5d mark 2 and I tried to take a picture with the speed light , but I can only have the whole picture with the shutter speed to 320 per second (even I reduce the aperture to f1.8 with full power light). More than that I can only have part or not at all of the image. I tried to learn shooting photos from youtube and they can put the shutter speed till 8000. Please help me. I am new and try to learn more photography. Thanks
Hi all, I have this problem recently when I mount my 24-70 (version 1) to my 5D Mark 2 (yes, old camera, but still work well) I kept getting an error that contact is having a problem after I taken a shot. When I peep into the viewfinder, I saw that the whole image is very dark. There is no problem with other lenses upon seeing through the viewfinder. But when I tried to zoom the lenses, I can feel that there is certain thing has just come out underneath the zoom ring. Does anyone have this...
Hi, I'm a landscape photographer who uses a Canon 5D2 and Adobe ACR /PS. I often find digital rendering of forest, trees and vegetation too yellow for my liking - tinkering with the HSL sliders reveals that often vegetation 'greens' are nearly all yellow, and bright leaves saturate out and clip easily. I used to shoot Velvia and much prefer the darker, blue shifted greens, if that makes sense. Can anyone recommend profiles I can easily install in ACR that might help? (I was wondering about...
Hi everyone, I am from Brazil and I have a Canon 7D with the old 100-400mm. I shoot wildlife (mostly birds but all animals) and I want to upgrade it to one of these 3: - Canon EOS 7D Mark II - Canon EOS 80D - Canon EOS 6D Mark II - Canon EOS 5D Mark II My main options are the 7D Mark II and the 80D. Which one of those 4 should I get and why? Is there a big image quality difference between the 80D and the 7D Mark II (based on my searches there is and the 80D is better)? What's the main...

I have a kenko 1.4x pro 300 dgx teleconverter that was working with a 5D2. Autofocus used to work with this converter and a 70-300 f5.6 lens (resulting in f8). I tried the teleconverter today with a 5D4 and I got several problems: - 00 aperture with a Canon 70-300 USM IS II - Camera unable to focus or take pictures with a 100 f2 lens - Camera did not turn off with Sigma 50 mm f1.4 lense After removing the teleconverter and turning the camera off, the camera works again. Is there a...
Hi everyone, I currently have a Canon 60D camera that I use to record videos. I use a Sennheiser lav mic set up. I've been frustrated by the inability to plug earphones into the body and listen while I record. I want to upgrade to a camera that allows me to do both (connect lav mic without an extra accessory AND connect headphones). My lenses are fairly expensive so want to stick with Canon, despite some very tempting Sony cameras now available. I don't need the latest and best camera, so was...
Hi, I just moved to Nunavut and would like to take some nice pictures of the northen lights. I dont have any equipment yet as I'm new to this. In a year or two I will probably get a full frame camera such as 5D MARK II, but for now I'm thinking more of an entry level such as the new Rebel SL2 with 18-55 mm kit. We travel a lot and I like the idea of having something quite small to bring with us. My main picture will be paysage (main goal would be the northen lights) and portrait (main goal...
hello everyone, here to ask your opinion about canon cameras. I am upgrading my camera and looking between the canon 5d mark 2/3 and 6d mark 2. what do you reckon to be better between these two and why? i have a crop frame one for now and really need to have a camera with full frame, with a great sensor that can allow me to print keeping an amazing quality, (I have recently used the 6d mark 1 and by my own surprise noticed that the files created by the camera where not that bigger than my...
I have a new Fuji X-100T which has become my go to Street camera. For other type shooting like travel and walkaround I have an Nikon D5300 and Sigam 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM. But I have never owned FF and as a photographer I want to see the difference for myself through experience not reviews and test charts etc. I have opted for a used 5D II as it is a good compromise of IQ and price and robustness. I will sell the Nikon D5300 and 17-50mm F2.8 one and buy my fist FF camera for travel and...
