I just updated to 10.11.6 on my mac and now can't shoot tethered with my EOS 5D mark 1. Lightroom says it's compatible on its website, but this isn't the case. Does anyone know of a software program that is?

I have a classic 5D and have come to the conclusion that a card reader is the only way now to download images.  I can't use anything in my Macbook Pro--using El Capitain.  So, any insight or suggestions?  Thanks!

Hello Everyone! As an avid landscape and cityscape photography enthusiast, I recently purchased a Canon EOS 5D Classic, in order to enter in the full frame world. I already have a (even more classic) Canon EF 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 USM, the first one back from the late 80's with metal mount. The lens is good, really, though it has some problems dealing with flare - the image goes all white and looses all contrast - and it's a preetty dark lens. The question I ask is: what lens can be a good 'bang...

I was in a local shop to get a new Sigma 50 1.4 ART for my 5D and 70D.I went through 3 copies of the lenses and only one of the them autofocus well enough on the 70D without AFMA. Unfortunately that copy is part of a kit (with Sony mount converter). I couldn't buy on its own. The other two copies AF are off on both the 70D and 5D. My question here is that 1. Shall i just grab any copy and send the lens and cameras to Sigma for calibration right after purchase.. 2. Or shall I at least get one...

Hi . . i have error code ERR70 , anyone else ? . . It started intermittently last week and came to a head yesterday. It says 'cannot communicate with the battery' tried removing battery and putting it back in and using a different battery it worked for a few frames but then reverts back to ERR70 again. Tried reinstalling Firmware Update 2.1.2. but this just sticks at 98% , so won't fully instal now and camera is just stuck in this perpetual circle back to 98% and camera has no other...

I have bought a canon 70D last year and have been using it with the kit 18-135 STM and 50 1.8 STM. I get good stills with the prime lens but with the kit lens so so. I liked 70D for its video autofocus and silent recording. Recently, I bought sigma 17 50 2.8 and am not very happy with it. I want to sell it off and stick to primes for stills and kit lens for videos. To avoid lens changing on field I am thinking to go for a back up camera. And I also wanted to experience a FF camera. Now that...

My three years camera started a problem. It is not shooting after the lens focuses. It happened with two zoom lenses,  24-70 and 70-200 so it's not lens related. After I touch (move) the distance or focus ring on the lens everything goes back to normal till the next time which comes soon after few shots. Any ideas? Thanks. Peter --**********
