My three years camera started a problem. It is not shooting after the lens focuses. It happened with two zoom lenses, 24-70 and 70-200 so it's not lens related. After I touch (move) the distance or focus ring on the lens everything goes back to normal till the next time which comes soon after few shots. Any ideas? Thanks. Peter --**********
I took a few shots with my Canon 5d mkiii today and noticed some bright pink marks showing up in the same place on all of the photos. The marks are pink with a bit of blue around them. They look like dirt but the colour is confusing me.I've cleaned the lense on both ends and tried different lenses, all to no avail. I used the manual sensor cleaning option to open up the mirror so i could have a look at the sensor. On inspection of the sensor it looked spotless. I've tried the othe sensor...

Hi, this is a bit of a strange situation so I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I shoot a lot of concerts, theatre, etc. where flash is not required but generally haven't done much indoor portrait and private event photography. So I've really only started using flash this past year and am still getting the hang of it. At the moment, my main setup is a 5D III with a Speedlite 380ex using the hot shoe with a basic plastic diffuser. I had a short shoot in a dimly lit room today (just a...
Hey folks sold my 80 400 ED vr, looking to re-aleign my gear not sure if i'm going to try another. Looking for some advice on either going all DX, and maybe FX, I'm selling my D700 next week. I'll only have my D7100 and D3300. I've been interested in a DF, since intro, not interested in 810! looking for small kit of primes no zooms, my Dx has 18 140, and 18 55 kit. Also nosing around Sony, A7 II, and Fuji XTI, not sure about their lenses, just want a light quality kit. I started in...
For all types of photography except weddings. I am a student and i will probably buy vintage lenses as they are really cheap. Most likely m42 . However I think i might benifit from the full frame. Both are €299 the 5d however is off a family member. I honestly cant decide. I will get to try an Xpro 1 later this week but i have nothing to compare it to. All help appreciated!

Hello Folks! I'm hoping for some advice before I purchase a prime lens for my new GH4. My needs are pretty specific: Must be lightweight, under $1,200. manual aperture and focus, and ideally a declicked lens. I have one purpose for this lens and one purpose only: I want to do hand held shooting of tree and shrub foliage at the local Aboretum. Due to a hand disability I can no longer operate my tripod or hold heavy gear for handheld shooting. By way of background I'm a newbie shooting video...
Hi I wonder if anybody can help me. Occasionally my 5D Mk3 says that the card is full when there are actually only a few files on the card and there is loads of free space. This has happened to both the SD and CF cards. I have tried shutting down, taking that battery out etc but this does not fix the issue. The issue also remans after I delete the few files on the card. The only way that I can get the camera to recognise that card is not full is to reformat the (which I do in camera). The...
