Based on this link http://wiki.pocketwizard.com/?title=Understanding_HyperSync_and_High_Speed_Sync#Reduced_Clipping That said : Cameras with larger and slower shutters can produce more noticeable gradation. Cameras with faster moving shutters and smaller sensors can improve HyperSync success by minimizing gradation. Faster or slower moving shutters are not the same as your camera's shutter speed setting. I was still curious about Hypersync, then i was found this article that "faster and...
Hi there, throughout high school I was shooting with the Canon t2i (550d) for pleasure and I now want to upgrade as I am taking photography more seriously and the t2i just doesn't cut it for me anymore and I am wanting to get a ff sensor I really enjoy shooting fashion and portrait photography in an outdoor and studio setting. I currently have a budget of aprox $2000 CAD and the Canon 1ds Mark iii ($1400-1700), 1d Mark iv ($1900) and 5d Mark ii ($1000) have all appealed to me within my...
Hello All, I'm currently using 60D + 100-400 MK II combination for wildlife photography. Now, I have an option of picking up a 1D MK IV from one of my friend, body is in good condition and I will know shutter actuations in couple of days (currently at canon service). Price is almost similar to 7D MK II (~100$ less). Now, would like to know from you experts, a. Considering advances in AF, Sensor and ISO on 7D MK II, how does 1D MK IV compare to it b. If anyone of you have both the bodies, how...

I am after a couple more batteries for my 1D mark IV, I mainly shoot horse events, so can range from 2000 to 10,000 a day and majority of third party cannot manage to a decent amount of shots without having to switch out. obvisouly canon genuine is the best I could get but at £120 each it is a lot, is there any that anyone could recommend.
Has anybody have any experience bringing in a pro camera and lens into Steinbrenner Field for a NY Yankee spring training game? I'm thinking of bringing my 1D Mark IV and 70-200. Here is their policy from their web site. Cameras and Video Cameras are allowed in Steinbrenner Field; however footage may only be used for personal use. Fans are not permitted to stand in the aisles or obstruct the view of other fans. Tripods are not permitted in the stadium at any time.
Hi Ladies and Gents. I have recently had a problem with my Canon 1D Mark IV. Iv had it for 4 years now, accutation count at around 50 000 images. I have never replaced the battery. It decided that it was a good idea for only the shutter to work, I was not able to access any of the fuction buttons on the camera. Auto Focus is not working. Im still able to take images via manual focus but not able to review any images. I have tried taking the battery out and leaving it out and putting it back...
