I recently bought a Canon CP1000 photo printer which worked perfectly when I took it out of the box. Unfortunately the dog damaged the paper tray so I bought a new one, not realising it was the tray for panoramic sized prints. I then bought the correct size tray but every time I try to print pictures I get the message that the paper and ink cassette do not match - THEY DO, I am wondering if anyone can help me with this. I have this project where I'll be running around in the street shooting and printing at the same time, with the help of an assistant of course. Would probably rely on DC (battery) power and would find a place/platform to print but all that should be done quickly. Was thinking of using my Canon Selphy but I kinda held back for several obvious reasons: Printing speed will never match my shooting speed Requirement for AC power Expensive paper and/or ink Now, if there's any printer out there...

Hi,I'm off to Burma for a month in January.When I last went to South-East Asia, I met up with a couple who used a polaroid so that they could give copies of photos that they shot to kids in remote villages etc and I thought this was a great idea.I'm wondering if I could get hold of a battery powered, compact portable printer to be able do print shots directly from my Canon 5D Mk ii on the road?The most suitable option I can find seems to be the Canon Selphy range.
