Canon Pixma Pro-100

HUGE HEAVY lots of expensive ink cartridges but still the best printer I have ever used. Love the 13 X19 prints.  The Cartridges are expensive $103 us for set but seem to last much longer then other printers I have had.   I have printed 14 13 x 19 no border and 20  8 1/2 X 11 and only two of the cartridges are getting low. IF you want one look on Craig's list Canon was giving them away with a kit camera deal and people are selling them brand new sealed box for 100 to 200 $  with a pack of 13 ...

Bought this 3 years ago I think and heard Canon decided to kill Pro-100. Disappointed for this great printer.

This is my second wide carriage Canon printer. It is by far the printer that I have ever owned in the thirty years of photo printing for personal use. It is a fantastic value with current rebates and discounts. For me the image quality is great. Beware that it is big and heavy, as well as quiet as a result. I highly recommend it at the discounted prices.

I was getting frustrated with Epson printers, which had been superb a decade and more ago. I took the plunge with this printer. My photos have more visual punch than with the best paper and the old Epson R1800. I also was more than a little surprised at the slow sips of ink needed for 8 X 10 prints. I have only made a few 13 x 19, but my most common size is that 8 x 10. I can't imagine a finer printer. It is inkjet with dye ink and prints might not last as long as with some other inks. I ...

I purchased this printer six months ago and have used it to print out about 200 pictures of various sizes (8X10, 4X6, 5X7, 13X19). Initially, I printed using Qimage on either Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss or the Canon Platinum Pro paper and had very good results with all. Color reproduction, contrast and detail were all excellent. For my birthday, in May, my wife bought me Lightroom and I have being using it for editing and printing since. I compared the output between LR and Qimage and ...

With the rebate deals Canon is offering of late and the crazy low final cost, it's hard to go wrong with this printer in my opinion I did quite a bit of web review searches before my purchase and could find any reviews that have any real negative comments or observations other than high ink costs. This printer is a beast... large and heavy. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation so make sure you have a spot picked out with plenty of room before it's delivered . Setup and ...
