I bought this printer to replace my Epson R2400 that I had used for 10 years.  I have to say, the color prints are more vibrant and the B&W is just as good as the old Epson, (which had 3 Black ink cartridges). I have used both Canon and Epson paper with equal results.  This is a solid pigment ink printer.  I use the wireless feature all the time since my computer is in another room that I photo-edit on. I have had my Pro-10 for about four years. It's worked well and with attention produces very high quality prints. I did replace the head at the end of year three, So far so good. I give it a B+

I can tolerate the endless grinding, clunking, and churning as well as the time it takes to generate a high quality printout, but the Pro-10 cannot do it. I have struggled with it for over a year and have now completely given up. I've used the (utterly annoying) Canon "My Image Garden" software, printed from Photoshop, printed from Aperture, and endlessly futzed with settings on all of them and it is an exercise in complete frustration. On ...
