Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM Macro Q&As

I own several R series cameras, EOS R, R5 and R5C doing event photography and videography. So far, I have bought the RF 35 1.8, RF 50 1.8, RF 50 1.2, RF 24-105 f4 and RF 24-70 2.8. I would like to hear your opinion on reliability and usability for video work. My observation / problem: RF 35 1.8 (usually shot at f2.2) I like it a lot, when it focusses, but sometimes it will not, it gets stuck or focusses very very slow, even manual override won’t solve the issue, only a restart of the camera....

Hi, I recently purchased a Canon RP along with a 35mm f1.8. I'm running into an odd quirk and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. In a nutshell, when my camera is in servo af mode, I focus and lock on something somewhat close (lens extended out), then turn off the camera.
