I have been using the RF 24-240 from release :) I really like it. For walks I take the RF 24-240 and RF 14-35 for a good coverage. I did use the EF 16-35 and RF 70-200 f4 L for a year or so but I found one problem :( On the walkabouts I found the WHITE was getting a lot attention from people I did not want attention from. Yes someone even ask to if he could take it home over night when the shock wore off I told not only NO but hell NO. I think he got the meaning :) So now its the RF 14-35 and ...

I am very happy with this lens, its not the most awesome lens ever but its a good lens for my needs :)   It covers more range than a RF 70-200 + RF 24-105 when used with my RF 14-35.  Its not as sharp was my RF 70-200 f4 but its good enough and I am happy with it.  I dont like to carry a bunch of lens's for a walk about but 2 is great :)

I was a bit apprehensive about the IQ from this 10x zoom lens but having been out and about yesterday evening in Llandudno (North Wales) in some challenging light, my apprehension soon disappeared. OK, not a pro lens but one I'm happy with for travel photography and will be using it on my EOS RP for my upcoming trips to Herefordshire and Norfolk in July and August respectively. I'm a wedding photographer and use pro grade glass including a couple of primes. If all else failed, I'd happily use ...

Having recently acquired tiny Canon RP with an excellent 35/1.8 IS prime I was thinking about augmenting it with this 10x zoom. It would make a nice full-frame travel kit, so I could retire my old APS-C D5500 with its 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom (equivalent to 28-210mm f/5-8 on full frame). Dreams, dreams... Quick unscientific test on brick walls and tree branches has shown no meaningful difference in terms of sharpness (both in center and on border of the frame), chromatic aberrations, bokeh ...

I never thought I'd be saying this about a "superzoom" lens having had my share of them over these last 20+ years. I ordered one for walk around purposes and was rather quickly disappointed. It was pretty sharp in the middle but had odd bokeh and was a tad soft on one side. I sent it back and thought rather then give up on first try check out a 2nd copy. Man oh man this 2nd copy blew me away. I instinctively assumed this would not be much better than the 1st, but it was like an entirely ...

I bought this lens as a walkaround/travel lens and overall, am pleased with the results. I'm a bit disappointed with the vignetting at 24mm despite which aperture I'm using and the purple fringing around the likes of tree branches in high contrast conditions. I know these can be both corrected post process but for such an expensive lens, I thought these wouldn't be an issue. I suppose that's the price you pay for a 10x superzoom also a little disappointed that Canon don't bundle a lens cap ...
