How much is a Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM actually worth? I have this lens in 10 condition with 5 months Canon USA service warranty remaining. The carrying case is a little scuffed on the outside but the lens, hood, and caps are like the day it left Canon. How much should I ask for it when selling? does anyone have a good instructional video/photo/written explanation on how to open up and clean the inside of a 300mm f2.8L USM NON-IS LENS ? there is some stuff on one of the internal elements of this lens. check out the pics.. I think it is on the focusing element or possibly the element in front of that one. thanks for the help :) ---mikemjkshots.com

How much light do you loose - is it in the range of 1-2 stops? 3.)...
