Canon EF 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM User Reviews

Zoom lens | Canon EF | 2562A002

Frankly, I don't know why Canon still makes this lens. I've seen it bundled with the 7D and just shook my head wondering what they're thinking. Don't get me wrong. It's a wonderful lens! But it was never made with digital in mind, and it just doesn't "fit" the vast majority of Canon's lineup (the 1.6x cropped body cameras) due to what becomes a non-existent wide end. Owned it when I was in the college. Quite a decent lens considering the affordable price and the image output, especially when stopping down to f/8. Recommended lens to students. Problems: Zoom ring is as smooth as L series lens. The built is not solid in general.
