The Canon EF 200mm F2L IS USM is aimed at portrait and indoor sports photographers and the seeming successor to the legendary 200 F1.8L USM (discontinued in 2004). This unashamedly professional-grade lens is equipped with Canon's image stabilization system, which gives up to four stops of correction. This lens offers excellent image quality at all apertures, and works very well with Canon's EF 1.4x II and EF 2x II teleconverters, achieving an effective focal length of 280mm and 400mm, respectively, on Canon's full-frame DSLRs.
