Bad audio noise but great images. I love the features of this camera (4x zoom, image stabilization). And the pictures look great. But I want my small camera to take decent videos, and this one doesn't because of the electronic audio noise added to quiet movies. So I returned it. Problems: Bad electronic audio noise in movies

This is my third digital camera.I owned an Olympus Stylus 300(now broken, no fault of manufacturer). My other current camera is a Pentax DL SLR.I bought the Canon to take to Disney(love the SLR but too bulky for this trip). The Canon in no way competes with an SLR nor is it designed to, but I am very impressed by it's speed, bulid and image quality (at resonable ISO values).I wish my SLR focused as fast!I have had it one week now and have taken approx 500 photos with it.Image stabilization is ...

I got this instead of sd800IS. I found this one while looking at the SD800IS which I was going to buy. I like this camera better for it's longer telephoto as well as some reviewers (pro and common user) have noted that the image quality is slightly better. I also like the way that it is organized and constructed more than the SD800IS. This camera is a nice size to whip out on a moments notice, rather than fidgeting with my bigger DSLR. It does pretty well in in-door low light, is easy to ...

This is my first EVER compact digital camera. I researched for weeks on which camera I should buy... and I finally decided on the SD700IS. I finally got it a few days and have taken many pictures. The shots are in brilliant quality, and everything about the camera is just so simple. I just played around with it for a few hours and finally got a pretty informative gist of the entire camera. It really is a great camera, and the Image Stabilization feature works perfectly. Problems: Nothing ...

This camera for its size its about the best I have ever used. Most little cameras take less than great pictures indoors and in low light. But this 700is takes very exciting pictures indoors as well as out doors. When you put the 4X zoom with the Image stablizing and great low light ability. It reall is a nice camera for the price and for the size. Some people say it lacks features....maybe yes but it is able to take even fairly hard shots with out going to manual ! The nice thing is the ...

Solid camera with great features. Easy to use and the image quality is top notch. The 4x optical zoom is nice compared to all other slim cameras which are 3x zoom. Easy to understand menu system. Great little camera!!! Problems: The function dial is a bit odd, but not really a problem per se'

Very good p&s/go anywhere/pocket camera. Prints excellent at A4 & acceptable at A3 (using QImage Studio and HP8750) My wife has one as a main camera - I also have one as a backup to EOS350D, 400D and S3 IS. This camera normally produces more photos than the rest combined (special projects & holidays excluded). Problems: None so far

This is a nice little camera for my wife and it does all that it needs to do for the photographer that does not want great features. The pictures are clean and for most part ready for print right out of the camera. It is no SLR, so don't expect miracles. Problems: Figuring out the new interface in the P&S when compared to my 30D. It is amazing how one gets used to one thing.

Had this camera for a few months now and it has performed admirably. I've taken well over 1000 shots and they've all turned out great. Most pictures are very sharp and well exposed. Features are easy to learn how to use, and the color modes (swap and accent) are tons of fun. Good Battery Life. Extremely fast startup and shot to shot times. This is the best compact digital that I've owned to date (and I've owned quite a few) UPDATE: I DROPPED THIS CAMERA AT A CONCERT (I was jumping up ...

after 1000 pictures i'm pleased with this point-n-shot camera, (especially like it's speed and the zoom and great battery-life), but i'm definetly not blown away. Problems: Indoor pix without flash are 99% NOISY , would like to see in display actual aperture/shutter info and info about battery-life. Movie sound VERY disappointing.
