I have five of this odd little PowerShot. I don't know how anybody could think this is a good form factor for a hand-held camera; there really isn't any good way to hold it and I have a lot of fun challenging innocent folks to find the mechanical shutter button (which is pushing the ring around the lens up or down). I've had a Powershot N for 4 months now and I'm delighted with it. In about a third of the photos I take, the hinged LCD screen is very useful in getting away from the "standard adult eyeball"" height -- whether lower for photos of children or higher (inverted) above crowds. The lens quality, megapixel quantity and CCD quality are very good for a point-and-shoot, especially in terms of my needs, where I often crop heavily and need the "surviving" image to be good.
