A little background about myself. I usually carry my Sony a6300 + 16-70Z when I travel, but I finally realized that I really dislike carrying a large camera/lens during my trips. I also have Sony RX100 M5, which I have rarely used, so I started playing with it more, with an intention of making it the only camera I carry during my future trips (go away Covid!!). But oh the AWB is pretty bad on this camera. I shoot RAW, so I am not referring to the JPEG engine color rendering. I am referring to...
Hi all, I have created my own picture style on a Mac (10.15) and have uploaded it succesfully to my M200 via EOS Utility. Now I would like to have the same style on my G9X II. The manual states I need to use CameraWindow. I can't find a download on the official Canon site. I then tried a download from another site with a windows machine. This version of CameraWindow did not recognize the camera... Now I am stuck :-( Can somebody please help me?
Hi, New to this forum and to photography that's more than just aim and shoot all together. Have been using a Canon G9X for a couple of months now, for the most part in AUTO mode. When taking pictures at night, big light sources light the street lamps in the attached picture of the moon in others, come out blurry. What setting could I use to make those come out neat and sharp? Thanks a lot for your help.
I have Canon G9X Mk II and have been very happy with it but have just noticed there is a circular speck on the images. It might be a speck of dust on the sensor or on the inner surface of the lens. I suspect the sensor. I live in the UK - is it worth sending it in to Canon for a repair?

Hi I am looking for a camera that I can easily take with me on dog walks, preferable in jeans pocket and that’s capable of getting good pictures of a running dog as well as pictures of my daughter with a bit of background blur. I currently have a EOS 450 and nex 6 , but both are too large for casual everyday walks - so was thinking if g9x is small enough to get into jeans pocket and good enough for capturing a moving dog ?or just save money and upgrade my iPhone SE to iPhone 11 ? Would g9x be...
My Google fu is failing me - can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Does anyone know which of the adhesive filter ring adapters that Lensmate sells would work on the G9 X Mark II? I know they don't have one specifically for the camera, but I'd assume one of their existing adapters should be of the right size. Thanks in advance!
