Since launching its first computer in 1976, Apple has become synonymous with meticulous design and a seamless user experience. Apple gained an early foothold in the digital photography market with Macs gracing the desktops of many working professionals. Yet it was with the launch of the iPhone in 2007 that Apple skyrocketed to its current position of dominance in the smartphone camera industry. Its wildly popular App Store, where best-sellers like Instagram have spread 'iPhone photography' to the masses has fundamentally reshaped the business model of personal software. Apple's own hardware products include desktop and laptop computers, iPod media players and the iPad as well as peripherals like high resolution displays, WiFi base stations, network servers and streaming media devices.
Apple offers iOS based Aperture professional photography software that lets you refine images, showcase your photography, and manage massive photo libraries.
