My son is a college student and photo-hobbyist. His camera is a Fujifilm X-S1 and although it can capture RAW images, he prefers shooting JPEGs. His birthday is coming up and he has hinted that he would like a more advanced photo organizer-editor than the one he has been using (Fastone), so I'm thinking of buying him Adobe Lightroom for his birthday. My question is whether or not Lightroom is a sensible choice for a hobbyist who just shoots JPEGs?
