Hello, my name is Kenneth Clark and I am 17 years old. I started with photography about a year ago after I bought my first camera, although I've always found photography fascinating. I would really appreciate some feedback on my blog. My theme tries to portrait alienation from an outsider's viewpoint. There is not a visual theme, but there is a shared sense of observation and reflection on how society, and people in general tend to work. Thank you, Kenneth...
Hello, my name is Kenneth Clark and I'm 17 years old. I've been interested in photography for a long time, but I started with my photography about a year ago after buying my first camera. I'd appreciate any feedback on my photography. The main theme is isolation and deatachment from society and reality in itself. Thank you, Kenneth Clark. kennethclarkphotography.tumblr.com

My daughter has a video project for school that sounds more involved / ambitious than I'd expect (she's in eighth grade). I'm going to try to help her capture and edit the video, but since this is for French class, clear audio capture--outside, probably on the street--is important. I have heard good stuff about the Rode Videomic line, but (1) I don't know how well they'd attach to / integrate with my A580 (I have an old-school Minolta FS-1100 to mount ISO flashes, FWIW), and (2) something...

Hi everyone. I've become increasingly interested in photography the last years, and especially object/macro photography, but I'm currently only shooting with my phone (xperia Z). I went through my dropbox camera folder recently and was totally dejected by what I saw there. Every picture is grainy, lacks colour-depth and has "too much background". I got a lightbox a few months ago, hoping it'd give me more hours of the day to take pics, but it seems the phone's sensor is "corrupted" by the...
Hello everyone, I bought my a580 used about a year and a half ago, and have been very happy with it. When it first arrived, i must say it was in absolutely perfect condition (and only 8000 clicks). However, after a lot of handling (and another 50,000 clicks) the grip has become very weird feeling, sort of sticky when you first grip it, and after a while even a little slippery. The problem is clearly in the rubber of the grip, and i'd like to ask if anyone has experienced such a problem...

I currently use an A580 and my walk-around lens is the Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.0 OS. I have boatloads of other glass including full frame 70-200 f/2.8, UWA zoom, and a variety of primes. I am considering purchasing the A6000 as I am attracted to its compact format. I would either need to purchase the LEA4 adaptor or purchase new lenses. I suspect that I would keep both bodies and use only the A6000 when travelling "light". So we come to the PZ 18-105 f/4 lens which seems to provide pretty good...
I am thinking of buying an A580 to replace my wife's A200. I like the A580 because it has both an optical viewfinder and live-view as well as HDR, panoramic mode, video and the tilting back screen. I think this will be the last optical viewfinder A-mount Sony will ever make so that is another reason I want to get one now. I would like to hear your opinion of the A580 and how it compares to the A200. Thanks. PS I shoot with a couple of A700s (best shooting layout of controls and menus) an A900...
