Browsing the net I stumbled across a small quantity of new Sigma SD15's on sale for a good deal less than £350! So my frustrating SD14 was put up for sale and provided me with almost the purchase price of a new SD15. My hopes that the SD15 would be a better camera seem to be confirmed. After the great experience with the SD14 I can say that the SD15 is even better. Electronic improved, much faster processor, better noise treatment, very smooth in all the aspects. Dynamic range excellent, colors very naturals and reals. Pics looks great . The leaves , flowers , trees at landscapes looks naturals and clears. True colors sharpness and very high definition. Excellent camera with really good features and outstanding image quality at 50-800 iso. Higher iso is rougher primarily in very low light. But still very usable there. The really nice stuff are the user interfaces, simple menu structure and fast access to important settings through hardware solutions rather than layers of menus. On the image making side, the AF is very accurate and continuous focus outstanding on objects moving quickly towards the camera. SPP has been improved as well.
